Technical Pro PS9U 1U Rack Mount DJ Pro Audio Power Supply w/USB Charging Port

The unit functions exactly as advertised. From the pictures I couldn't see that the rack mounting flanges are removable, but that is actually a positive thing since it allows to use the unit with or without them. I use it in an audio video console, so the flanges are not necessary. All the individual switches (with lights) work fine. Other reviewers commented that the lights are too dim. I concur with that and I would recommend that you plan to use this unit in a low light location. No direct sunlight and/or brightly lit room. But once again for my audio/video console it's perfect. The lights are just the right intensity so it doesn't bother one while watching a movie.

Technical Pro PS9U 1U Rack Mount power strip works as intended. Easy to install and works well for my digital audio equipment. I have not used it for high voltage and high powered amps.

For the price it's about what I expected. The metal is thin, but it holds together well enough to get the job done. It won't take a lot of abuse but it is probably fine for most permanent installs.The ears aren't quite standard rack spacing for the slots so I had get the screws started and walk it in but it does have 3 sets of mounting locations and you can flip the ears giving you a lot of choices for mounting depth.The switches and plugs seem of good quality and the illuminated switches are not annoyingly bright. Has a single fuse and no other protection circuitry so I have it plugged into a separate surge protector. The removable power supply cord is a nice touch.I heard some rattling around in mine. I opened it up enough to get the small bit of pooled solder that was rumbling around to fall out and buttoned it back up.Over-all I'm happy for what I paid but if I were to start gigging I will probably bump up to a name brand unit.

Love this Rack Power Supply. Plenty of switches plus a bonus USB charging plug.Only down side - Don't like the way the end tabs attach! A little flimsy on the ends. I cut a rectangular slot in my computer desk close to the front end of the desk. Dropped this unit in and plugged all my hardward in from under the desk. Very nice set-up, don't take up a lot of room with the larger monitor platform with outletts in the front of it. Oh, I mounted the monitor on the wall so that also freed up some needed desk space.

UPDATE: the switches can fail to turn off, even though the blue light shuts off, power is not cut, that’s a bit hazardous I should think. It takes several tries to get them to engage again and start shutting off when they get in this state. Do not buy.The chassis is thin and fairly flimsy metal but everything [initially worked] and looks nice. The ADJ one with the 8 big red switches is better built, but you get an extra switch/outlet here, USB charger and a nicer look. I would only use this one in a permanent install out of harms way. But so far so…no, read the update and avoid.

I just got this product today. It does work and gets the job done, so I can't complain about that part. I give it 2 stars because1. It does not fit in my rack properly.2. The rack mount ears are detachable and you have to put it together yourself3. The screw provided by the company to attach the mount ears don't exactly fit in the screw wholes, you you have to be very careful when putting them so you don't damage it.Also when I inboxed it, it sounded like there was something loose inside it. I have tested all the channels and so far everything works so I won't be returning it. (But I don't plan on replacing it soon, so if you're looking for a long term power conditioner, look else where)Another thing I didn't like about it is the fact that it comes with countertop legs pre mounted on. If you don't have a rack then you're good to go but if you do you might lose a rack space if you don't want to mess with it to take the legs out.

I have bought several of these for different applications and they have far exceeded my expectations and quality. Well sturdy design and with the added USB port, adds function for all my devices. I have added a USB hub to power additional devices and works perfect. Nice blue switch lighting which is not too bright and have sturdy quality.

Purchased this in November. The switches work as expected and the blue light is nice. While it lasts. Sadly, the LEDs burnt out after about 1 month of use. Wouldn't purchase again.
