Q: How can this be low-fodmap if it contains garlic and mushrooms?

That's a great question! I am Alex with Kettle & Fire Happiness. I will be happy to answer it for you :-) Our bone broth is cooked with a small amount of onion and other vegetables and spices. Once it is finished cooking, everything is strained out, we package the broth. We actually use an extremely small amount of onion, personally what I would consider to be trace amounts lol. When I found out the amount and was surprised by how little it is. We have been seeing excellent results from people using our bone broth to treat IBS and other digestive issues so it has not enough to cause adverse side effects in our customers!
