These are about the mid range in price, but good quality. I saw two packs for the same price but liked the look and more quality hinge on these. The lenses get a little smudgy, but clean nicely with a t-shirt. Solid hinge design. Nice styling. Remind me a lot of my Oakleys as far as quality and durability. I use these for driving mostly. As long as the sun is out, they work well. At first, your brain goes a little nutty. Even though you have full clear view, your brain is telling you it can’t see well enough to drive. As if you were wearing limo tint shades. You might get a head ache, especially when in fast motion on the freeway, but eventually it gets used to them. You can see all the traffic signals, green is green, red is red. Yellow looks a little orange and headlights look more yellow. Oddly enough, the little yellow LED’s on people’s side mirrors that illuminate when a car is in their blind spot appear a faint green. Red cars appear a sort of pink/red, and other paint colors look a little odd, but not a problem for seeing what you are doing. I wouldn’t recommend using at night. They block enough light to make it dangerous to drive when the sun is down. If you think of them like normal sunglasses, use them when you would use sunglasses and you’re good. Probably great for a hike,.. but you’d want to remove them for a few minutes to let your eyes adjust their white balance before taking photos. I tend to be a pretty uptight driver and I find these glasses calming in that regard. These and some calming music or an interesting podcast, and I find I am about 75% more forgiving to other drivers. You can also wear them before bedtime to help calm you down for bed or block blue light from your devices. But like sunglasses, you’re not going to see well in a dim room. It really mutes color from your phone or tablet making it more like black and white. Which is also good for limiting screen time. There have been several studies that show changing your phone to black and white helps ease social media addiction. The red glasses are very much the same in that regard. So if you are trying to limit screen time and blue light so you can go to bed quicker, this is a double whammy. I’d imagine it would also be good for kids. Just tell them they can’t be on screens without it. But I’m not an eye doctor, so you might want to run it by one to see the effect of red light on developing eyes and brains. Works great for adults though. All in all, I think the value for the money is there. Not to pricey, not so cheap they fall apart. As for the health benefits, you’ll have to try them for yourself. Everyone is different, sees color differently, and modulating color perceived by the brain will affect everyone a little differently. I am autistic and find the glasses calming, but again, autism is a spectrum too, so your results may vary. My assumption is that an autistic child has potential to see benefit from these especially if they spend time on screens. They may help on social settings to ease social anxiety, however, you look a little weird wearing them. So if you’re the type of autist who doesn’t care what people think,.. you’re good,.. but if you are hyper conscious of your appearance, probably best to leave them at home or in the car. If these ever break, I’d probably just buy this model again. Solid value, great for giving red light therapy a try.

Fit comfortably, look nice, block blue light effectively, has improved my sleep. There was a card and little light included that had no instructions on how to use them.

TL;DR Pro;They are comfy and killed my headache, most things are crisper in my vision. Bright light is not an issue anymore. Con; anything the same color of the lense disappeared. (Not surprising as they are acting as a filter) Ok, first off I have to say I have had a low level headache all my life when I am in sunlight. I tended to take night jobs because of this. I also preferred low light in my house. I suffer from monochromancy. (Complete color blindness) After doing some research I discovered that light sensitivity is part of my condition. So I purchased these as a test before I get prescription glasses made with the FL-41 80% lenses. After an hour my headache was gone. (YMMV) for me this is huge. They may not work for everyone (I know my condition is rare (1:40,000) but they do kill all UV light and I am glad I purchased them.

It helped me go to bed and wake up alot better

The only issue I had with the lense what's the cheap frame it felt like they could break easily when I was cleaning them I decided to set the back other than that the the let's themselves were were all right and they block blue light pretty well and the case was extra bonus.

Ok, so I never really write reviews but these glasses with red lenses have been a real game changer for me and the wife, and thought I should share. We’re both super sensitive to blue light (a common problem for people with light eye colors), especially right before bedtime. This really applies to anyone with a hypersensitivity to bright lights as well. They block out the stimulating blue and green light from our cell phones and LED tv so our bodies can produce enough melatonin to help us sleep better. Saves us on supplements too! The price we paid for these is a fraction of what we would have spent on lotions, pills, etc. I highly recommend these, especially if you suffer from migraines like I do. I will add that these are NOT suitable for driving, unfortunately. (Too bad, but please don’t try after dark). Seriously.

These, are very nice. This company I can tell takes a lot of pride into their craft and profession by the way things come packaged and what you get. I opened it up as soon as it arrived and much to my surprise this was not average, to say the least. I was immediately impressed by how well made the glasses are and the quality of the lenses. Have to admit, these take getting used to, but they're fun to wear and almost everyone has something positive to say about them. There's a few other things inside the box too! They have a statement that I have read and that was awesome. They have a few other things in there as well, but another thing that was really cool, is the case itself folds out and folds into a triangular shape. I can't even express fully all the things you get because it was that kind of experience and probably the best consumer experience I've ever had on Amazon since I began purchasing items here for the last several years. If they ever make a purple clear lense just as good or a mirrored type and as good as all their other lense colors, I will hope to be one of the first to buy a pair.. or two! 😉

better than expected it really does block blue light well from my experience they may feel a little tight first few use but its not uncomfortable and they stay on well,feels weird watching screens with it at first but you get used to it pretty fast, i think for the price its good value.

Love these. They actually seem to make a difference in falling asleep.
