O-Cedar Professional 24" Multi-Surface Maxi-Lok Push Broom

This is a great push broom and a great value too. I like that it has soft outer bristles that sweep up fine dirt particles, while sturdy inner bristles sweep away larger debris like rocks and leaves. The 24 inch size is also perfect for our backyard. Do yourself a favor and buy this over its small sibling. You will cut your sweeping time in half! The handle has yet to come loose - so the Maxi-Lok technology has definitely lived up to its reputation. Just be weary that you can not use any handle on the broom head. If you are into protecting the environment, you will like the fact that this broom is eco-friendly with broom block and bristles made of 80% recycled material.Conclusion: Received promptly, item is high quality and bristles are not too stiff. The broom is better than what I expected. I definitely recommend it.*If at any time my opinion on this product changes, I will update my review to reflect that.

My husband wanted a broom to clean gravel off the concrete part of the drive way. This does a very good job at moving small to mid size gravel off of a pretty worn out slab of concrete. But it is just soft enough to sweep out the garage and do a nice job. Owning one broom that works for stiff ans soft jobs is great. And finding one a husband will pick up and use is even greater. O-Cedar broom is way better than the other main brands broom. I am a fan of the other brand for many things but in the case of brooms O-Cedar is the best. I was in maintenance and cleaning for many years and know a good broom when I use it.

These brooms stand up to daily use in a wood shop, they catch the fine dust. My only complaint is that when they do break at the handle connection I have to buy new ones as there is no handle replacement assembly.

Seems well built. Assembly is pretty easy: line up grooves on handle to head, screw on. The weight seemed appropriate compared to the many brooms I've pushed so far in life.I used it to sweep all the winter crud out of my garage. It worked well to dislodge mud. I don't know what an exceptional push broom would look or feel like, but this one is as good as any I've used in the past.

Used once so far for several hours to clean up a serious mess on concrete floor in the basement from water, etc. Broom handle locks in with no loosening, as advertised. Broom is manageable even for a small person, sturdy, cleans heavy, wet material quickly, effectively, and saves time and money. Long brush size allows cleaning large area quickly. Friends had suggested I hire a restoration service; instead I was able to do the job effectively myself and save money. The broom has more than paid for itself already and will continue to do so.

It is a good broom. does the job well. Just wish it wasn't so HEAVY! I am not a wimp by any means, but I believe a push broom should be able to be used with some ease and this one has some heft to it.

I bought this for use in the barn, which has a worn concrete floor- so it's smooth in places and cobblestone-y in others. I use it to sweep up very fine dust, chunkier dirt, hay, and long horsetail hairs. The hay and hairs don't get stuck in the broom bristles. The broom does a perfect job. No need for a straw broom to get into the corners or along the edges. Best thing: you can push or pull, it doesn't skip across the floor when you pull it back toward you. No problem with the locking ring coming off. But if it did tend to get loose, that would be easy to fix. One minor quibble would be that the handle is a bit short and I'm only 5'7".

Love it. Very sturdy. The product promises the broom will not come off while in use. I used it all day in cleaning the garage and patio and so far so good. I am impressed, it looks great, decent price, packaged well and arrived in prime condition, and works like a charm. Can't get much better than that. Would definitely recommend it.
