How long does this stuff last?

I've read that as long as it's refrigerated and stays sealed so it doesn't dry out it's good for years.

i cant find pasteurized. wouldnt that be safer?

I believe, that since this is simmered for some minutes, the unpasteurized problem no longer exists. Just my thought.

What is the difference between 'unpasteurized jaeraesik soybean paste' and 'sunchang doenjang soybean paste'?
