Does this come in a case?

Yes - in a black hinged case with gold writing, sturdy and well made.

I’m afraid it doesn’t say on the harmonica or the box. Saying that it’s very nice and a lovely sound.

Would this be good for a 5year old?

Ok that’s a difficult one, I wouldn’t because it isn’t a toy. These Easttop harps are cheap, but very playable instruments. There are many exposed and sharp edges. The comb itself has square edges which are sharp. If you are buying it as a toy....no absolutely not. If it is to seriously start them on a musical journey I would suggest a ukulele would be a better option. I know through years of playing how difficult it is to play a harmonica. Yes you will get a sound out of it.....but whether it’s considered musical is another question again, 5 year old is too young.
