Dull…. But Toadfish is Replacing it
This was the dullest fillet knife I’ve ever used straight out of the box. Wouldn’t even cut through pan fish skin. Also having a hard time getting an edge on it. UPDATE: I reached out to Toadfish directly and they believe I got a defective knife so they are sending me a new one! I still love this knife I just wanted it to be sharp. Excellent customer service on their end to say the least. Latest UPDATE: I’ve received my replacement knife from Toadfish and it is scary sharp! I can’t wait to put it to work. Great company and quality products!

Feels right in my large hand. Great feel, and grip. Very sharp too and good flex. Nothing cheap about this, very well made.

Sharp
It's as sharp out of the box as my culinary knives that I sharpen regularly. Good beaner. Good lock blade. Nice quality finish all around. This gift should give my fisherman-son years of reliable service. Nice value.

Cool As Ice - Cutlery With Art
I just received this knife and have not even used it yet, so this is an asthetic review only......this thing is cooler than cool -- mind you I do fish, cook and really good with a knife at the water or in the kitchen -- but I had to review this piece of art and it's just wow to hold in your hand. And one more thing to add -- the packaging is one that is engineered art, simply cool cool cool and add some ice to that.

Made in China, not Charleston, S.C.
Nice workable fillet knife. Good quality and no complaints. Opens and closes easily. Semi flexible. But to the question where is it made?It does say Designed in Charleston, S.C. on the box. But in smaller letters beneath, it states Made in China.But I've got some nice tackle and it says Made in China too. And it works great. As does this product.Tight Lines folks. Feel the bite.

Great for steak and chicken
Great knife, super sharp. I use it for cutting steak and chicken on my hibachi griddle outside, works amazing and has not filled in several months so far!

Love this product!
Very sturdy and great grip, good size. Well worth the cost. You can definitely tell the craftsmanship and care that goes into the product. Easily be a gift and used daily by the avid fisherman. And you get peace of mind that they donate a portion to restocking fish populations
