They worked but .....
I have encouraged those who purchase the lighthouse nightlight to consider purchasing these adapters to elevate the light bulb to a level up to the lamp house to be more prototypical (where the light source would be coming from) and these adapters (several of them stacked together) do the job perfectly; however, they aren't always easy to just screw together to make a good contact. I wrote the company about that matter and their response was nebulous ... either I did not explain myself well or they misunderstood my concern. Either way, they did the job but the insulating covering made the job of making them all conduct electricity was a challenge. Some would screw together nicely and conduct electricity while others took some extra turning pressure and manipulations to make contact with each other (and one never did conduct electricity ... at least I could not screw it in tight enough for it to do the job. Bottom line: They work great but order extras in case you have a faulty one. I stacked many adapters together in order to achieve the height I wanted to have the light emulating from the top lamp house of my lighthouse. They worked great to accomplish that goal.

The black shows. What you see is what you get. I should have LOOKED
First of all: My Bad! I wanted this for a regular sized light not a candelabra size. My mistake. (I do have candelabra-size fixtures, for 4 and for 5 and for 6 lights, so, onward! This has 5 extenders.) Secondly, the part that screws in is a silvery color and the part that shows is a black color. If this is a color choice you like, this is your extender!

Good extender but cut off the rubber!!!
So I have a very old antique brass chandelier, and some of the sockets were down too low and I was not able to screw in three new led bulbs. So I came across this product because I just needed a candelabra screw base extender. When I received the extenders one big major problem was the rubber around the extender. It was actually impossible to screw in a bulb with the rubber around it so luckily I was able to cut off the rubber with scissors and that solved the problem! I would rate this 5 stars if this product didn’t have rubber around it, very inconvenient. It is a easy fix though and all you need to do is get scissors and cut off the rubber. This did just what I needed and it’s not noticeable. I have a fully lit chandelier now!

Worked just as described.
I am an interior designer and I needed these to slightly raise the candelabra bulbs in a fixture i purchased for a client's kitchen. They work perfectly raising the height of the bulb about 1/2" which was what i needed. One note of caution, though. I noticed that once they were installed they reduced the light output in a noticeable way. If you are using LED bulbs it won't matter because you can probably raise the wattage and not worry about it. But if you are using traditional bulbs and need to stick within the wattage limit you may want to try a few in the socket and a few not and compare the light output both during the day and at night.

These solved my problem
These solved my problem of my LED bulbs not being able to screw in deep enough into my candelabra to make contact. I had to trim off a tenth of an inch of the shrink tubing to make them work. See photo.

FYI: Rubber sleeve too big
Exactly what I expected. My bulb's shoulders was preventing the base from making contact, and this fixed the issue. However, the rubber sleeve is too big; it was preventing the extender from screwing all the way. I ended up having to cut the excess rubber with an Exacto knife.

allowed the bulbs work
New led bulbs sometimes don't have a long enough shank to work in normal fixtures because of the shoulder on the new bulbs.. This extension did the trick, but it created a weird looking extension even though they are quite short. I bought some glass bobeche and stipple painted the top side to add a lacy effect and it worked like a charm. Actually improved the overall look.

Extender is Perfect
Used in my ceiling fan with 4 candelabra bulbs. Wanted to avoid risking breaking apart of bulb glass & metal part while screwing or unscrewing candelabra bulb directly into fan hardwired connector tight enough. Extender is PERFECT . But user will need patience and adequate sensation in fingers to screw candelabra bulb into extender ......then to screw extender into fixture. Extender is PERFECT......One inch extender also increasesthe amount of light that comes into room as bulb now reaches edge of shade. So glad to have acquired this product...that I was able to install myown self at age 70.........
