Alpine Mrx-m100 - Monoblock 1000 Watt RMS Subwoofer Amplifier

Great amp. Very efficient and good cost/watt and is very loud hooked up to my 2 4ohm 12" Infinity Perfects in a sealed box. I upgraded my factory alternator wiring and ran 4 gauge from battery to 1F cap and amp and 4 gauge grounds directly to chassis. I used 10 gauge speaker wires to each sub. This may be slightly overkill, but I think I am getting the full power of this amp. It beats hard. It runs cool, but will get hot if you run it loud for a 1/2 hour or longer. Also, it does cut in and out if run hard for a long time (like only during continuous rap type bass and it would cut in and out very quickly so it didn't totally shut off which is better than totally shutting off like my Rockford amps). Seems like very nice build quality for the price. More expensive Alpine/JL/etc. amps are better, but this is the best 1000Watt amp for the price.

I drive 06 impala and have this hooked up to a "15" sub the sound is fantastic. it puts out heavy bass I have it set to negative 0% on my stereo and it still puts out heavy bass enough to vibrate my trunk and shake my rearview. if you are looking for great sound this is the amp for you. I love my amp I have been using this for over a year now and it has never heated up or shut off. I take road trips inter-State driving playing sounds through this amp and the trips have been fun. they is a lot to say about this amp but all I can say is get it and you will not regret. I would recommend this to anybody who loves music and quality sound.

I have this hooked up to 2 12" JL W3V3's and it bumps hard and is very crisp. The power of this amp perfectly matches the speakers. I have the gain and everything set correctly so that at max volume you are 1 tick away from clipping. And at that volume it makes good bass. Obviously it sounds better with my JLs than it does with my kickers. But definately the best 1000w amp for the money ive encountered. Ive had this thing bumping for 21 months. Still going strong. Usually for me 2-3 years is about all i expect out of an amp so its approaching that mark soon. Hopefully it will continue for a bit longer so i can upgrade when it goes out. But definitely my fav amp for the price.

Not a bad amp, delivers a lot of power, however it doesn't seem to cover the range as much as I would like, seems to soften out and not do well with certain tones.

2014 F-150 Platinum, Fox Acoustic custom fit vented enclosure, with 2 Alpine Type R 10's with 2 Alpine MRX-M100 pushing them (yes, that's 2,000 watts RMS). All I can say is...WOW! Even with everything else kept factory, the sound is absolutely amazing. Had systems back in high school and thought they banged, they don't even come close. These amps provide great power and crystal clear bass with no distortion. At 2000 watts RMS, if I turn the bass control knob above halfway, the roof on my truck starts flexing! Numerous road trips of 3 hrs or more and these amps never missed a beat.

Ive always relied on Alpine, they are by far the best sound company out there (in my opinion). I decided to be cheap and go buy the used one of this amp, new one costs around 300, and it stopped working on me after a week and a half. lol >.< Word of advice; dont buy used products.

I owned a MRP-M500 and wanted to upgrade because I was upgrading my woofer to Rockford Punch P3-12 inch.. The woofer has 600W RMS and this amp puts out 500W at 4ohms and a whopping 1000W at 2-ohms. I am extremely pleased with the setup. I recommend this amp for any1 who is looking for a reliable amp with 500w AT 4-OHMS OR upto 1000W at 2-ohms... P.S: do not buy the Remote bass controller.. it reduces the bass output.. I bought it and now it is a waste!!!
