Really enjoyed the flavor
I enjoyed sprinking a bit in my cereal to liven it up a bit and loved the combination of flavors. I was sorry to see amazon stopped stocking this, hopefully it will be back soon.

NOT nice!
Not nice is the being modest really. I would love to see theur so called 'ayurvedic' recipe that calls for almost halftime of it being turmeric. Turmeric is super medicinal. That doesn't mean we should be washing down bucket loads of it to gain the benefit. Not to mention it taste awful. Like every medicine people need to understand science behind it and marketers needed to stop making false claim. Turmeric is a potent alkaline. Which is why it's so beneficial for common cold a virus because it shifts the internal pH, which tends to be on the acidic side and hence optimal for bacterial/viral growth. This is also why vitamin C is used (especially in West) because it also shifts that pH, but towards higher acidity than optimal fir viral/bacterial growth. The trouble with latter approach is it agrevates the system a lot before it gets better. That is not to say that the former approach (inherently used in the east) is without flaws. These flaws, however, has more to do with understanding and preparation than anything else. Turmeric serves best when added to WHOLE (full fat) dairy milk and brought to boil before serving. Full fat milk has [/need] enough lecithin to hold fat and liquid in a homogeneous mixture. It is this lecithin that serves as a 'carrier' to deliver turmeric to our system, because turmeric on its own is hardly absorbed. Fat content in milk also boosts the delivery, as with most spices. Stiring, while the milk is coming to a boil creates proper agitation of molecules that makes lecithin encapsulate curcumin (turmeric) possible. Of course a pinch of pepper powder boosts the thermogenesis in our system for better absorption too. Conclusively, there is a lot of things happening in a simple recipe of adding 1/2 teaspoon turmeric with pinch of pepper to 1/2 glass of whole milk and bring it to a boil while stirring before serving. Ayurveda is not just about 'ingredients' but 'preprations'. I say preprations, because I have tried turmeric in semi-skimmed milk or other non-dairy milk as well during my rare common colds and it ended up drying my fluids so much that I ended with dry cough and eventually needed antibiotics. I even tried adding a spoonful of oil to non dairy milk (thinking it will balance the fat requirements) and ended up with chesty cough and needed antibiotics. After few experiments over last decade, mainly because I have become lactose intolerant, I came back to 1/2 tsp turmeric in 1/2 cup whole milk. Nothing works the same and hence the research (to satisfy my curiosity behind 'golden milk' formula), shared above. This particular preparation is simply way too much turmeric than necessary (and may well be harmful) for our daily use. I mean we use 1 tsp turmeric in curry for four people, so that's about 1/4 tsp daily use per person for daily immunity boost. Then it's double that, 1/2 tsp (as golden milk), for three days to recover if we catch a bug. As for the taste this is basically, gingery spicy and hardly anything else. I will use this one as 'seasoned turmeric' in cooking so as to not waste it but will not be buying this again.

Exquisite - luxurious and creamy
I used generous 2 tsps with unsweetened coconut milk from Rude Health, which is especially creamy and tasty, and it was delicious. The best turmeric drink I have ever had. Really luxurious. I tried a different blend several years ago and it went off, as I did not drink it. It all sunk to the bottom, it did not blend well, and had little flavour, but this is really special. It is full of goodness, but you want to drink it because it is so nice. There are so many rich, sweet spices, that it is naturally sweet without any added sweetener/sugar. Strongly recommend.

Superfoodies Organic Turmeric Blend Golden Milk 150G
This is a wonderful tasting and healthy product. I mix mine with almond milk and a teaspoon of coconut oil and a half teaspoon of raw honey, for a delicious morning pick me up drink. The Golden milk is easy to mix in and isn't claggy when mixed. If you've never tried it, now's the time. Great taste and super value, therefore it's 5* from me folks.
