What a treat! So much fun to have Marmite again. If you like Marmite, but need the kosher version, this is the one. I bought this small bottle because after hearing so much about it for so many years, I had to try it. I made a piece of buttered toast and put a tiny bit of Marmite on the corner of it. Can't say I liked it. The overwhelming taste for me was the saltiness. Marmite is an acquired taste, I'd guess. Like Guiness or other things. I'll try it again soon just to see if I'm getting used to it.

Rem, use a tiny amount when you start. This is not chocolate spread. I use it as part of a diet to satisfy cravings for food and meat. Has somewhat of an aged smoked cheese flavor. I eat it everyday over toasted bagel with butter. The tiny amount is strictly for flavor and not as any significant source of calories. It is, however, loaded with B vitamins. KLBD logo is on the bottle. Funny how I came to this product from a song Down Under.

I liked the flavor of this. But I did not like how sticky it was. It was like a very thick syrup, almost molasses-like.

I heard Simon Cowell wax poetic about Marmite on AGT, although he acknowledges that it's a love/hate thing, Turns out I hate it. I gave it two stars because it arrived undamaged and in a reasonable time period considering it's imported. At least the container was small, so it didn't cost a bundle to satisfy my curiosity.

I was very happy to get this item earlier than expected all the way in Indiana, USA! Also, the product DID come with the KLBD kosher symbol on lid—which was a concern of mine when making my order. Overall so pleased.

A strong and distinct taste. I love it over buttered bread.

I had read that people spread this on bread. I got it for that. It's way too salty. I will use it to flavor soups. I won't send it back because they did send the product and I can use it other than how I had thought. I guess you have to develop a taste for it. It's really salty.
