The room divider is very nice, and looks just the way it was pictured. The frame seems strong, but I would have to say that while moving it around, I accidentally pushed it into another piece of furniture, and it bent a small section of the screen. I wasn't able to bend it back exactly the way it was, but it's unnoticeable. Care must be taken to make sure that it doesn't come into contact with other pieces of furniture. But, for the price, it's a great value!! What I wanted was to create a sacred space in my home office, and this divider works well!

I bought this 9 years ago. I have moved many times since then, and it was in storage for over a year. My cat thought it would be fun to use it one time as well. And still this beautiful divider is still amazing and has become a staple in our house. The colors never faded, and the wood is still intact. The only bad thing is that the while is discoloring a bit, but that happens to really old items with that material and it just started looking that way recently. It is made of a soft cloth that even though a portion of it has nail marks on it, you can't tell. I'm actually shocked that it lasted this long. It's one of my favorite pieces. The photo I took has the nail marks too.

I purchased this room divider to use as a shield to hide some ugly A/V wires from the back of my TV and media unit. This thing works like a charm. It looks good and does the job well. My only wish was that the packaging was a bit better since the paper is fairly delicate and the first one that was shipped to me had a gash in it. The seller was very responsive though and I got a replacement no problem. If you're in the market for a lightweight, economical room divider, this one is a good pick. It is not going to be a conversation-piece and I wouldn't use it as a screen in high traffic areas due to its light weight, but as long as you take it for what it is, you will not be disappointed.

I work from a home office in a small apartment and this is just what I needed to separate "work-space" from "living space"... and it's light and easy to move, so if I have to work late at night, I can just fold it up and watch TV from my desk. The art is only painted on one side, although you can see it from both. The plastic-y imitation rice paper is great - if you see anyone whining that it's not real rice paper, tell them to shove it; imitation rice paper is what you get at this price. But I actually like it - my cats would tear though rice paper in no time, but this actually stands up to small critters running into it.

Suspended it onto a wall to cover a big bedroom window (that was foam boarded to deflect heat). And it instantly became beautiful wall art. We got so many surprised compliments!

Since I have issues with sleep and we have a sitting room in our bedroom, (combined two rooms into one when my parents came to live with us), with a T.V. I did not conform with the doctors orders of nothing but sleep and sex in a bedroom. We love watching television in that room so we got these panels to divide the room. They work great! Since our room had an eastern decor, they fit in perfectly. Love them and like they way it splits the room with style. No Assembly is required which was nice. Just take out of the box and they are ready to go.

The screen is beautiful to behold, but a bit light-weight and a little flimsey. Discovered that one of the paper panels is loose , not firmly into the groove -was not packaged well, damaged during shipping. I am somewhat disappointed.

I reviewed many of the other styles of divider doors and most reviews said the colors, like the blossoms, etc.. were not the same color as on the site. I decided to get this one instead since its basically just grays and blacks. I am very pleased with this purchase. It is not rice paper but I never expected rice paper that for that money and it makes it more sturdy. Rice paper breaks very easily so I prefer this material. Overall it looks great, functions great, and was delivered without issues. I would highly recommend this room divider.
