Great quality, nice looking, decent privacy
So I've never been a huge fan of these as I tend to think they look kinda cheesy and cheap...but so do chain link fences in my opinion. I decided to take a chance so I could gain a little privacy from our neighbors and keep our dog from barking at them...the chain link fence isn't going anywhere so might as well embrace it. I also have flower beds along this fence that tend to fade into the back ground of their yard so I'm excited to see all my plants pop against the more solid fence look.I almost cheaped out and went with ones that were half the price but I'm glad I didnt. These aren't cheap, but well worth it. They are wide enough to fill the whole space available for each slat. Obviously the joint where it's all connected leaves a little open strip but that's it. When looking straight on you can still see through but it gives decent privacy. The slats are well made and sturdy and easy to install, the don't bend easily and that helps you get them pushed all the way down. As others mentioned, I also didn't use the bottom channel, it's not really needed unless you want that extra inch of coverage at the bottom. The slats are tight when in place and won't move easy so the locking channel isn't needed in my fence to keep them in place so just opted to eliminate that step. I kept them just in case for some reason they get lose, easy to add on later if needed.I attached some photos of the end result looking straight on. But also just the first test panel I did. You can see that looking at them from the left you can see through pretty easy, maybe 65% coverage. Straight on privacy goes up to about 90%. But looking from the right it's 100%. It's kinda like a blind slat just depends on the angle how much you can see through. The slats sit at a slight angle when inserted but that's just the natural angle created by the chain link. Nothing you can do about it but overall I'm very happy with the result and the product. I'm glad I spent more to get a good quality product that offers as much coverage as possible. Time will tell if the fade in the sun, hopefully not. But I'm really happy with how this turned out and love the added privacy!Oh and I'd suggest to measure your panels. I ordered one pkg to test before spending a bunch to do the whole fence. I wanted to make sure I liked it first. Anyway the test section I did used one whole package. So I just counted the remaining panels (8) and ordered more... easy right!? Lol Well each section isn't exactly the same width. I currently have a whole package left...I still have more to do as I work my way up the driveway so they'll get used. But one package does about 10' maybe a few inches more. So I'll be measuring each remaining section so I don't buy more than I need.Overall great quality product, great privacy, highly recommend.

I'm happy with it
I put up a new gate and wanted a bit of privacy so the multitude of sins in my side yard wouldn't be visible to the whole street. It's only 80% coverage because the chain link is large, but I think it still looks nice and provides enough privacy at a casual glance to satisfy me.Installation went faster and easier than expected. The slats were a couple inches too long. If I had been smart, I would have cut the first slat to fit the gate and then cut the rest of the slats to that size prior to installing them. However, I paid more heed to my brawn than my brain that day, so I installed them all and then trimmed after the fact. Not as tidy as it could have been, but c'est la vie.

Easy to install, looks good.
I'm using this product to put some privacy between me and the neighbor dogs. It's not completely blacked out but I really think it helps a bit. Extremely easy to install. I need more and I don't know when the 4' black will be back in stock??

don't buy if your fencing isn't in 10 for increments
so bummed - I measured and found that 3 packs (over $100 each with shipping) would cover the area of my fencing with som left over. unfortunately when I actually installed it, there was about a foot left over uncovered =\ so I contacted the customer service - not at all looking to get anything for free and I made that clear - just saying hey I spent over $300 I dn't want to buy another 20 wish feet of material I just want to buy this little bit to finish off my project - NOPE they said it's best to have "some" left over incase "something happens" like what? but regardless I'm not interested in having 90% of ANOTHER order left over to then have to store somewhere. it was very disappointing to find myself with just those two options - leave it unfinished or pay another $110 for a single foot of material. overall it really effected not only the look of the finished project because ultimately I didn't pay the extra money, but also my experience with the product - thats way too inflexible.

privacy
These slats are very good for our style of chain link fence, we had the 1 inch slats in the fence when we purchased the home, I could never get them to stay in place and the privacy was minimal. These are much better and with the bottom locking system they will stay in place.I ordered two bundles for one section of the fence and when I returned to purchase three more bundles they were out of stock, customer service kept me posted and when they were back in inventory I received and email, good service. Price increased too Boo!The bad- The second order was i inch shorter than the first, should be exactly the same for all bundles, may not have caused a problem except I had some slats in my large gate from the first order so in order to make it right I had to remove them and start over. A pain for sure but overall they look great and did give us the privacy we were looking for.Be aware, if your fence has the wide type chain link these will not give you much privacy.
