OGX Protecting + Silk Blowout Quick Drying Thermal Spray, 6 Ounce Bottle

Didn't really do much for my hair jst made it greasy

Worked great. Left my color treated hair feeling soft and bright. Easy to apply. Just started using but very pleased so far.

With a baby at home, I wanted to find a way to shorten my shower routine and I was specifically looking for something that would dry my hair faster. This product came highly recommended on a number of websites and with the sheer number of positive reviews on Amazon, I figured I would give it a shot.I have very fine hair, but a lot of it, so drying my hair can take quite some time with a hairdryer. If I leave it to air dry, it will take hours, If I sleep on wet hair pulled into a ponytail, it's still not fully dry in the morning. I use this spray liberally all over my entire head, in particular I focus on the upper back part of my head where I have a lot of hair and it takes the longest to dry. This product has shaved a solid 10 minutes off of my hair drying routine. My hair dries super fast with this product, I wish I found it sooner! I don't find that it particularly weighs my hair down, but I've only used it for about a week so far. I stopped using other smoothing products because I don't find I need them with this.

When sprayed onto hair before blow drying, the hair dries faster and subjected to heat not as long. What I love is that the style holds until next washing.

This review is based on my own hair type and experience.I've been using this with my L'ange Le Volume, which is the brush/dryer combined and it gives the fresh from salon blowout look and feel. My hair is long and fine but have a lot of it. I did a comparison to John Frieda brand and was very impressed with the OGX. In fact, I actually felt like I got a better result from the OGX. First the smell is pleasant but doesn't linger. There is a slight stickiness if you are applying it to your hands (just spray it directly on hair lifting and spraying and then brush through, stickiness problem solved). Also, I towel dry my hair for a short time prior to spraying into my hair (this is more because I get distracted). I let set for a about 2 minutes to absorb into my hair before drying. Drying time was very reasonable given the amount of hair I have. Once I complete blowout, the end result is smooth and sleek. Keep in mind, this is not a frizz control product. For frizz control you would want to use a product that is specifically for frizz or one that includes in the blowout spray.
