Does this come with a mug?

Hi, it doesn't come with a mug.

I got mine so long ago that country of origin could have changed, but the bottom of my warmer says Made in China. It's an attractive mug warmer that keeps my coffee warm - not hot, warm. I still have to use the microwave if I let it sit too long. But the fact that it still works is a positive. It does melt wax/candles well if you think you'd use it for that.

What if the mug is not a flat bottom and has a rim, does it still work well?

None of my coffee mugs have a flat bottom, and it works perfectly fine for me to keep my coffee hot. All of my mugs have a slight rim on the bottom, and my coffee is hot when I pour it in my mug. I've had it for a couple of months now and use it every day, and I'm very pleased and satisfied!
