EpicProvisions Beef Jalapeno Bar, 1.3 Oz

I bought this along with a few other bars, bites and pork grinds from this brand for my dad for Father’s Day. I actually went out on a limb, not knowing that he actually loves this brand. It turns out it was a hit and he gave it all rave reviews. He did say it’s a little pricey but worth it. I don’t think he had treated himself to this brand of products in a while and now he’s back on them. It makes me want to try them now too. Definitely recommend according to my dad and he used to be a food tester. He has tried all sorts of health products and has his favorites as well as ones that he doesn’t like, but this brand of products he’s a fan of. I feel like that says a lot because he’s definitely a man of distinguished taste, meaning he doesn’t want everyday ordinary. He wants different, he wants flavor and he wants lots of it. This brand of products definitely checked all the boxes for him.

I bought the set of one of each flavor, Southwest Verde and Tennessee Smoke. Neither tastes like much of anything other than a strong metallic taste. The Amazon listing says it's eligible for return, but attempting to return through Amazon says it isn't... which means at best it's a byzantine return process through the manufacturer. Sorry, but my time is worth more than $12. But I figure it's worth it to warn off any others who might not be able to spare $12. So maybe I just got a bad batch of biltong, or maybe it all tastes like that. It's up to others whether they want to roll the dice and find out.

The small Spivey kick is welcomed for this item! Still a beef jerky bar but has enough flavor to be interesting and better then the normal flavor

Not fresh! Best by date is November 2021. Very disappointed!

Mushy and way too spicy. Not good. Not what I'm after when I go looking for "jerky"

Unfortunately came six months expired
