These are so great, and come at a fantastic price! I needed something convenient for putting a curtain in bathroom window so it can stay open while showering, etc, but I didn't want to install a whole permanent window rod. These are just perfect and feel sturdy and high quality without being heavy. They also have a twisting/screw-like mechanism for extending, which prevents the rod from accidentally shortening and falling out of place. Highly recommend!

Exactly what I needed. Will order more for the other two skylights. Blazing sun is intolerable from skylights. These were perfect for hanging drapes . Had to cut and sew rod pockets in cheap but beautiful cloth shower curtains. Amazing in just minutes how my kitchen cooled down.

These curtain rods ultimately get the job done, but they’re far more frustrating to install than most tension rods I’ve used. The main issue is the very limited spring action. Most tension curtain rods have enough compression travel that you can roughly size the rod and easily slip it into place. With these, the spring compression is only about a quarter inch, so you have to adjust the length with near-perfect precision before installation. If the rod is even slightly too long, it won’t fit; slightly too short, and there isn’t enough tension to hold it securely. Once installed, they work fine, but getting them into place takes much more effort and patience than it should. If you’re used to standard tension rods with a more forgiving spring mechanism, these may feel unnecessarily difficult to work with.
