I have literally tried everything on the market to get rid of pet odors in a carpet. For YEARS! We have little dogs that make little pee spots that are hard to find but easy to smell after a long period of time. This worked amazing to eliminate the odor right away. I've tried enzyme cleaners, odo ban, Rocco and Roxie, vinegar solutions, commercial cleaners, oxy clean, natures Miracle...You name it. If it's out there, I've tried it. This is the only thing that has worked consistently and right away. Cleans the spots and removes the odors. The scent is strong when you're using it but once it dries it's pleasant and disappears in a day or so. SUPER concentrated. A very very little goes a long way. Pricey but worth it. If you're on the fence about the price...try it. You will not be disappointed.

I started buying this ODOR ELININATOR a long time ago as my son is disabled and incontinent. Bleach alone will not eliminate this odor. I put this product in every load of laundry I do. As a matter of fact , since all the new washing machines hold on to the last rinse water to wash your next load, a lot of people notice that their clothes are clean but they smell. NOT MINE. It does away with all odors-- even the machine odor. I put it in a spay bottle (again diluted) and use it to freshen where the dog been laying, the garbage pails, the rugs, as a room deodorizer. I spray it on the floor as a cleaner and also to dampen the mop to gather the dog hair that blows around (those retrievers shed and shed tumble weeds). It has a great scent and there's actually a choice of scents now. There is a LOE product which I have used as well. KOE may be a bit cheaper...really it the same. I even spay this outside where my Maggie has a preferred spot to do her business. I spray it all over the area--grass, sidewalk, road. I works JUST LIKE THAT. Amazing. I'm writing this review because I came back here to order another bottle and saw the invite to write a review. You will not be disappointed. A bottle lasts me year or more and I use it every day. When there was a very nasty back up in my basement the insurance adjuster and the clean up crew were amazed that I had gotten so much cleaned up without them and that there was NO SMELL. Everyone took pictures of the bottle to purchase it for there business.

I have used this 1996, my vet had a small squeeze bottle for cat urine. I used it after my kitty passed, he had cancer and peed wherever. When I adopted a stray cat she found the spots I missed and peed. I mixed it per the instructions and put it in my carpet cleaning machine, spray bottle for tile floors and she never peed again outside of the litter box. I used it for carpet cleaning when I had carpet just to freshen the carpet with two dogs and one cat. They never had accidents but I loved the smell and it doesn’t cause allergies. The smell it light and my house doesn’t smell like wet dog. You can spray on bedding, area rugs etc. it really is amazing. You can use on old permeated smells and it will get rid of it. When I lived in apts, my landlord had a tenant that had three dogs and 4 cats. It smelled like hell in there. They tried everything to get the smells out and she asked what I would use. I pulled out my jug and we went to the apt. We sprayed everything, walls, countertops, baseboards, concrete and after one full spray down there was no lingering smell. They bought me a new jug and still use this to this day for tenants with animals that use the house for the potty. Even my dog couldn’t find pee scent. Otherwise he would have sniffed until he found it.

I've been in pet rescue for over 25 years and tried every odor removal product on the market, and every "recipe" or recommendation. This product, and the companion product Cat Odor-Off, are the only ones that actually work to remove cat odor. With multiple cats in the house, there is always the potential of "pee-pee parties" as we call them when there is marking, missed litter boxes and other misbehaviors. And nothing, and I mean NOTHING, removed the odor from floors, walls, and other surfaces. I hated having that mild urine odor smell in my house, but figured it was part of being in rescue. My vet understood my frustration and suggested this stuff since he uses it in his practice, so I decided to give it a try. As soon as I got my order, I went into our dedicated cat room and sprayed the floors, walls and other hard surfaces. Then I left it be for for several hours. Later when a friend stopped by, we did the sniff test and were pleasantly surprised to find the urine completely gone. The room had a pleasant ginger scent and not the sickly sweet ammonia odor of cat urine. I then used it on my hardwood floors, linoleum and tile throughout the rest of the house. It worked great and caused no damage, even to my 100 year old hardwood floors. Now, when we find cat "on-purposes" (we don't call them accidents, because they aren't) we clean them up thoroughly with a rag, spray the surface with the KOE and wipe it up with a damp rag. For porous materials (cat trees, beds, laundry, etc) we use the Cat Odor-Off. Since cat urine odor is notoriously difficult to remove, I honestly wasn't expecting the results we got. I am very happy with my purchase. Now my whole house smells of ginger and not ammonia.

This really works! It has a clove smell so your home doesn't like chemicals.

So far so good. I took a black light to the carpet and walls to pinpoint where the cat urine was. I sprayed one layer on and let it set for 10 minutes. I sprayed one more layer and didn't even have to scrub that hard. This is expensive but definitely worth it. I purchased a garden pump sprayer to help with application. I highly suggest going this route.
