Excellent Brief Review of Internal Medicine
I rectified in Internal Medicine in 2013 and used a prior edition of this book. When planning recertification for 2023 I looked at this book and the Brigham Intensive Review. I initially went with the Brigham review as the Johns Hopkins review was last updated in 2015 and the Brigham review had a more recent update. After using the Brigham Review I went back and purchased the latest edition of the Hopkins Review.I prefer the Hopkins review as much of the information is presented in tables and "bullet point" format rather than the long, Harrison's-type narratives of the Brigham Review. The questions at the end of each Brigham chapter were useful, but they did not come with explanations. For a question data bank I am using the NEJM Knowledge Plus bank, which has been excellent. Each question in this question data bank comes with a complete explanation of the answer.

Best board review hands down especially when busy working etc
Best board review hands down especially when busy working etc. questions did have errors occasionally . The text had great high yield points/ charts were excellent and made for highly efficient studying material. This could be used stand alone with a supplementary question bank for board prep. Would highly recommend this book!

This is the BEST review book
I have been board certified since 1977, so I am "grandfathered" in and do not have to take the exams. I constantly review internal medicine simply because I want to. I attended the Harvard board review course, and also read the Mayo and Cleveland Clinic books. With all that said, in my opinion, this book is the best. The chapters are packed full of information that is both practical and applicable for Board examinations. The illustrations are superb. The accompanying questions are challenging, thought-provoking, and amply reinforce the text. If you only have time for one review book, this is the one!

I This is the best of the "university medical center" IM reviews
IThis is the best of the "university medical center" IM reviews. It is easy to read and clear with adequate depth and good figures and tables. The practice questions are at the level of actual examination questions. It was my primary M.O.C. study source and helped me achieve a high score.

THIS IS ONLY THE BOOK YOU NEED TO PASS YOUR BOARDS!!!
I can't saw enough about this book!!! THIS BOOK IS TRULY ALL YOU NEED!!!!! I only got MKSAP for the CMEs, but I'm advising EVERYONE, to look at this book and definitely use the questions that are online that comes with this book. The design and format of this book assists with helping a person to look at the big picture to figure out the specifics, I know thats not how I was taught when I was in medical school and residency 20 yrs ago, but I failed my ABIM boards, after using MKSAP, but, someone recommended this book and I utilized it along with the questions, I went thru the book 5 times, and the questions as well and I passed with flying colors!!!!
