SBE Solar Tech 12v Analog Solar Tracker Control Board

Great for solar panel movement tracking the sun. I have enjoyed this very much, and lots of fun. I blew the fuse once and the supplier quickly repaired it for little money. This work exactly as expected and easy to hookup. I first put it in a peanut butter jar to test, but now I have it in a clear mason jar which seems to work better as a more permanent fixture on my solar panels.

It was ordered as a spare so still in the box.

Very poorly done ... solder bridges on the IC's ... blew up immediately even with no load.

I have had one of these trackers for over a year. It functions very well. I would advise getting the 24v tracker if you are going to use a 24 volt linear actuator/or/motor. Mine blew a fuse using the 12 volt version on a 24 volt linear actuator. Though it worked and tracked very well while it worked, a 12 volt unit uses more amps than this can deliver. I contacted SBE and he had me send it in and replaced the fuse. I had the tracker back in three days. I will now use it with a different actuator of the voltage designed for this unit. Used as designed, I highly recommend this unit. For a 24 volt system or a 12 volt system with higher amperage requirements he has other units designed for them. I will be purchasing the 24 volt digital unit for another set of trackers soon.Well made, works great, fine people to deal with.J W
