An Essential Book for All to Read and Act On
If I were given the responsibility of preserving books for future generations, and I could only select 5 books, this would be one of them. Taking what lies in these pages to heart, I would rest assured that future generations would thrive. This book is that important to me. This is my second reread of the book, and my life has utterly changed since the first read; embarking on a new phase of my career, I am now ready to implement even more of these teachings and I can only see the blue skies ahead now! Thank you Rabbi Lapin and God Bless You!

SUPERB BOOK!
This book gives me so much to think about. Who in this country decided that making money is wrong and bad? That there is a limited amount of money so that if some people are making a lot of it that the lower income people are losing their share. This is just baloney! Where is this nagging insecurity and guilt about selling being perpetuated from? This book will share some insights into this growing untruth that is being pushed on people today. It surely is nice to grasp even this small snippet of truth. I am providing something special to people that they are happy to give me money for... otherwise they would not buy my product. Just that ONE rethink makes doing business easier and more fun. Imagine if you read this book and found tons of nuggets of wisdom about making money and providing your much needed service to folks who really need and appreciate it. Do it!

Excellent Read
Own a business? Thinking of starting a business? Or, are you planning on working at some point in your life? If so, read this book! The first quarter of the book is worth the price and the concepts therein should be taught and affirmed in every learning institution. Useful business advice aside, I also appreciated the exposure to the traditional Jewish treatment of scripture and the application of oral tradition to societal issues of the day.

Do not waste your money
While it's admirable the author takes the Biblical route with his points, the points are not anything new. Don't look for any astonishing revelations or epiphanies from this book. I started to read it and found it's just the same old same old you hear from all the other "how to make money" and "leadership" authors. Personally, my suggestion is that you should first go to the library and really take a look at it before you spend your money on it. Your mileage may vary.

An eye-Opening Read
Daniel Lapin presents the Ten Commandments for Making Money using examples from business, American culture, and Jewish traditions. It was very palatable even if you do not subscribe to any particular faith. Some of the examples and background went a little deeper than I felt necessary, but the instruction stayed mostly on point. There are passages worth highlighting and reviewing. I did appreciate the chapter summaries and key points. I would have liked to see that done at the end of the book as well to summarize the actual ten commandments as he shared them. A good read for any business professional and certainly for CEOs.

Insightful - Spiritual Prosperity
Out of all the books that I read last year, this is THE book that I am choosing to re-read this year. Rabbi Daniel Lapin is insightful. The entirety of its contents are beautifully written, and it is EXPANSIVE. It covers everything regarding finance, from getting the numbers straight, to attaining marketable skills, and even (especially) the spiritual aspects involved in bringing greater prosperity into the lives of you, your loved ones, and the market. It's all connected.

Great book, but too much of Jewish way of doing things
Really Daniel ??This is disappointing, quoting only jewish wisdom for every main section of the book defeats the purpose of the book and dilutes your message. I've listened to a lot of your videos and I think you are a better speaker than a writer. This book is more about a jewish way of life than it is about prospering.Maybe the title of the book should have been " How to prosper the Jewish way "Knowing that you are South African born and raised encourages me a lot. I relate to your story telling and perfect illustrations for each section in the book.I really appreciate the effort put in the book. So wish I could have a conversation with you and ask some questions on some key points you raised in the book.

Practical, informative, entertaining
Rabbi Lapin presents financial wisdom in a form that is practical, informative and entertaining. His enlightened perspective ranges from who we are as people, why relationships are important, why business is essential to us individually and collectively, what money really is, how to use it to serve others, how to anticipate changes, what prosperity really is, and so on. Because of my age, Lapin’s tenth commandment, “Never Retire,” was especially meaningful. I’ve said for years that retirement isn’t a biblical concept; just an American fantasy. Lapin points out that the very idea of retirement erodes the quality of perseverance. So, regardless of your age, you’ll benefit greatly if you read this book and apply what you learn.

Great book
Full of really interesting insight. Very, very new and salient points raised here. My only gripe is the high price. I made an exception here as it came highly recommended.

Only two chapters in and loving it
Stunning, absolutely stunning. The beliefs and frames that the author espouses for thinking about making money are turning my thinking around rapidly. I was recommended this book by a businessman friend and for three pounds I think it is worth fifteen times more. Read it, think on and and watch your thinking turn around to a more ethical view of money. Yes, this sounds like an author friend review but I don't know the man (yet!) but I love this book.

Every good turn deserves.................
Its interesting to note that while we come into and exit this world, naked, bald, toothless and penniless, that while we live, we are encouraged to make the most of our time on this earth. It's not a sin to make money so long as we make it through effort and hard work, while appreciating respect for our fellow human neighbours and friends.
