Best mount out there
Best scope mount for Mauser K98 I have found, well made and fits perfect. The only thing to remember is you are going to need to modify the wood stock to allow the mount to fit into the stock. I found an old solid K98 stock to modify so I did not have to destroy my original laminated stock, but larger stock and all other parts ended up reducing felt recoil by about 70%. After mounting and sighting in the gun I found that heat build up did not affect shots, and gun kept 1 MOA groups at 100 yards even after 15 shots.

Waste of money
Not a true 1913 spec rail, it's a bit wider so scope rings don't fit on it properly. Hex screws are not threaded properly either so they don't fit in the aluminum block.

Cheaply made and broke
I followed the instructions but the mount was still loose when i tried tightening it the bolt snapped so I took the other bolts out and all of them were stripped. The bolts are horrible quality. ATI said it was my fault and that I could buy a new one to replace it. I would not buy it again waste of money.

Archangel owner
I have an black Archangel stock with a large ring Mauser setup and was in need of a scope. The Mauser had no tap for mounting rails for scope rings. This was my only option without having to tap. For anyone with an Archangel stock, there are a few things you should know. You will have to bore out some of the innards of the stock. There are "ribs" running down the lower stock, running the length of the barrel. You will have to bore down the first rib about half of it's normal height. You will also have to bore out about an inch in width, between the left and right walls of the stock, to make room for the silver piece. A table clamp vise comes in handy to squeeze the Mauser down into the stock, which will help with screwing in the two receiver bolts to the stock. With the Archangel stock being black, I would recommend something like spray painting the silver piece black, since the silver will show in a few areas. I am slightly worried regards to the rear screw on this piece. Since it does not screw into anything, all it will do is grind into the rear top part of the receiver. I hope it will withstand the shock of an 8mm. I will test the stability and zero of this piece soon and will update after some range time.

Mauser Scope Mount
Appears to be well engineered, but requires a CONSIDERABLE! modification to the stock. the four screws that mount the rail to the clamp were about 1/8 inch too long , so when tightened, the rail was free to move. I shortened the screws and installed with locktite, also used locktite on the aft support screw, made the mount very secure. Installed on a Yugo M48. This mount sits forward enough on this rifle to interfere with the original rear sight.

It works great on my Argentine Mauser
It works great on my Argentine Mauser. I have a synthetic stock so I did have to modify the stock by using a dremel to cut out a little of the stock. Other than that it's great..

Sloppy manufacturing
Screws DO NOT fit properly into barrel clamp....going to call ATI and insist on 2 or 3 replacement clamp/screws until one works properly. Tired of big companies taking our money and not putting the effort into better quality control procedures.

Five Stars
Solid mount great if your mauser isn't tapped for a mount. Seems to be rock solid.
