How easy is it to use the software

It depends on what you want t to do. We use the software to make printed circuit boards. The software that comes with the machine is just what is required to load the CNC instruction file, and provide settings, and immediate control of the machine. The software is very easy to use, but it takes time to find a optimum method of working. It took us several weeks and a number of attempts to optimise the settings. Once you establish a method of working, I suggest you write it down as a series of steps, this guarantees reproducible results.

How deep can this cut?

As deep as your cutter will allow if you have the patience.

Can you confirm all frame components are aluminium and not a mix of aluminium and hard plastic

The flat components and connecting bars are aluminum. The spindle mount is either plastic or resin, I am not sure. The machine is sturdy for its size. If you let me know what you intend to do with it should you purchase I am happy to comment further
