Really happy with these filters. Bought a cheap replaceable one off Amazon previously and it hindered air flow and created loud noises at higher AC fan speeds. The K&N filter fits really well, appears high quality, and most of all great air flow. In researching this product, smell was mentioned. It comes in a sealed plastic bag, would recommend opening and letting it set out overnight before installing. I can detect a slight smell in my car though the air smells clean to me. Can wait to reuse. At the cost I paid, will pay for itself in 3 years.

If you buy a vehicle you intend to keep a long time, this is the go to filter. Pays for itself after a few cleanings. I wash and recharge mine before and after the pollen season. Catches pollen like crazy! Wash with a "Shower Head" type of water flow for best results. Key is wash, allow to dry, then reoil just enough to cover the material, but not too much. I use them in 3 vehicles and a motorcycle. I've never sprayed a fragrance on them, but I guess you could. Best quality filter media that you can find.

As the title says basically. I change my cabin air filter every 10K miles regardless if it needs it or not. I’ve bought the off brands and the OEM filters. They are all pretty much the same in my opinion. Then I seen a K & N Cabin Air lifetime/million mile filter and the price, I just couldn’t keep buying the other filters and wasting money. K & N filters are good filters. Pricey upfront yes, but in the long run it’s pays for itself. In my case, it’s paid for itself within a year. It works great, no issues and simple to install/maintain. I just use my air compressor to blow out the dust and other contaminants and reinstall it. I’m about to buy the cleaning kit for it, *I'll update that in another review in the future.* If you care about your truck, then you understand that oil, grease and clean filters are a lot cheaper than parts and mechanics. So when I installed this cabin air filter in my 2014 Silverado I did everything correctly. When I was driving with the ac on it was making a loud blower noise. It sounded like a jet engine taking off. For some reason that noise has minimized. Then maybe a leaf or something fell into the fan while I was installing the new one, but one day there was a loud chopping noise like something (most likely a leaf) was getting chewed up. Never an issue after that regarding that particular issue. But this is just my experience. Good product regardless

i will never buy a cabin air filter again. just wash it then dry and oil it and put it back in. it keeps the cabin air filtered and the cabin stays cleaner with this installed
