RACING 40 presents the features we have created as opaque and textured dials, sophisticated colours and minimalist aesthetics. The RACING 40 has a double-layer matte dial with embossed circular pattern accentuating sub-registers showing the 60 minute stopwatch and 24-hour time.

A beautiful watch and great service
With it's pale yellow 'panda' face, this watch is beautiful. It has incredibly high specifications for it's price and is equal to many watches in a much higher price bracket. Although it is a quartz watch it is also a Chronograph - it has a stop watch and a dial that illustrates time with a 24 hour reading. This is down to it's hybrid movement Not too many quartz watches have this dual function, combining a quartz movement with a mechanical element. The build quality of this piece is top notch and offers exceptional value for money.The only negative that I can find is in it's strap; it isn't bad but it isn't very good either. But this seems to be the case with many straps on new watches - whatever the price. This Hoffman watch has quick-release mechanisms that allow you to change the strap in a few seconds. It is one of those features that make you wonder why they aren't used by all watchmakers.I love this watch. I have quite a few watches but I would certainly buy another Hoffman. The service, from the Italian supplier was incredibly well handled and delivery was phenomenally speedy given that I ordered this product in the run-up to Christmas.If you are looking for a really high quality watch that you can wear with casual or formal clothes, do consider this one. To my mind, it is one of the best in it's field.
