RectorSeal Better Bubble 65432 Leak Detector, Fast Acting, Plumbing, 32 oz.

I’ve used a lot of leak detectors over the years, and Rectorseal Better Bubble is one of those products that just makes the job easier. It finds leaks fast—honestly faster than some helpers I’ve worked with—and the bubbles are thick enough to clearly show even small leaks without running everywhere. It sticks well in tight spots, doesn’t make a mess, and immediately tells you if your joint is good or if you need to grab the torch and fix it. It’s way more reliable than guessing or trying to “hear” a leak, and it’s saved me from callbacks more than once. If it doesn’t bubble, you’re good—if it does, you know exactly what to do. Simple, effective, and definitely something I keep stocked on the truck.

Used this product in the past. Had no issues. Much easier to detect leaks than with soap and water. Easy spray bottle. A little in the expensive side but worth it.

Works to find leaks but it leaves a sticky mess.

Have used several times over the years and stays longer than just soap and water , where soapy water may run off before you're able to find the leak.

Way better than dish soap to find leaks. Anyplace that is leaking will turn into a huge blob of bubbles. You can't miss it. The blue seems to fade away over time as well. Great product.

After loosening the nozzle tip, it still doesn't spray. Squeezing the trigger then causes the fluid to come out the plunger area and get all over my hand and the bottle. Eventually the little gasket inside the tip that locks the seal when the tip is screwed down gets unstuck and it sprays normally. But after screwing down the tip again, it will get stuck again. Next use will have to repeat the mess until it gets unstuck again. Update: See this video. I bought and compared both Rectorseal 65432, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001B00LOS, with ComStar 90-204, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DBAC864, and sprayed it on a tiny gash in a tire (it's an electric unicycle wheel). You can clearly see that the Rectorseal does nothing, while the ComStar bubbles quickly. I think that the Rectorseal is too thick to be practical.

I was trying to find a small leak in my air compressor. I was losing 5 pounds a day but could not find the leak using dish soap and water in various combinations. I bought this and because it stays where you put it and works for quite a while I was able to find a small leak at the release valve that had frustrated me for a year. It was worth every penny to find the stubborn leak.

Worked well for me to leak check a mini-split install.
