Shampoo’s are so specific to people’s hair. I’ve never had a shampoo that actually worked for my texture, everything makes my hair dull dry or remain greasy. I have extreme low porosity coarse hair that’s wavy and with this shampoo (I oil first) is the only shampoo I’ve found that makes my hair so shiny and hydrated (I don’t even use conditioner). My hair never looks like this with any shampoo. It always ends up looking like Coconut straws with any shampoo. Please don’t ever stop making this, I’m sure similiar shampoo’s might exist, I’ve just never found another one that worked perfectly to hydrate and clean and make my hair shiny all in one.

I started using this shampoo probably 3 years ago and I've just purchased my third bottle. I only use it maybe every other week to get a good clean, not just build up on hair but to my scalp. I do deal with hard water where I live but travel extensively and this shampoo is always with me. Hair is clean and restores volume to my locks.

This works well enough to get your hair clean from product build up, and that's what it's meant to do. I just wish it made my hair smell better. It doesn't give much of a fragrance. If you like that, this is for you. If you want a stronger "clean hair smell", you might want to try something else.

My stylist recommended using a clarifying shampoo followed by a leave in conditioner regimen about once a month to remove all the product build up. I definitely felt the difference when I used this shampoo, and it restored my hair and my curl's bounce which was being weighed down by build up. I don't have anything to compare it to, but I definitely noticed the difference when I used it.

I've been searching all different clarifying shampoos since it's seemed like everything else just weighs my hair down or dries my curls out or both. I swear I think I almost lost my mind going through so many and seriously was tired of even buying trial size products to get that perfect balance of Moisture, curl definition, weightless and a super clean feel. It's hard because I use alot of styling products so I needed something that was going to really get all that product buildup out especially the humidity stuff that really clings to my strands. This stuff did everything!. I have curls that range from 2b - 3c so basically they're almost everywhere as far as curly pattern but this shampoo just made them look completely uniform with incredible shine. It doesn't weigh my hair down the slightest bit and honestly I didn't even need conditioner that's just how good this stuff is. Did I mention the scent is absolutely divine..yes it's one of those scents everyone would love and it's not insanly strong. The greatest thing is that I don't even difuse my hair I just let it air dry and I was left with incredibly Shiny curls that feel so clean but very soft and bouncy. Not that soft where it falls flat just volumous and full which I need because depending on what I use my hair can look so thin or look like the lion king in the best way possible lol. I do use styling products after like kenra strong hold mousse and ouidad humidity strong hold gel to get the ultimate look but I can tell you this is the best clarifying shampoo I've ever used. If you're like me and Don't wash your curls for atleast 3-4 days to keep them from hygral fatigue then I can tell you this bottle is going to last forever!. I used the smallest dollop and it latherd so nice throughout my whole head and as you can see my hair is pretty long almost butt length. Trust me I was a little hesitant on the price but having everything I wanted in one shampoo and the fact that I didn't even need moisturizer which I know might not be the case for everyone but I was able to glide my fingers through my hair in the shower right after using this so I definitely think this is worth trying. I guess I'm saving buying tons of products or even just an additional product so yeah it's absolutely worth the price!.

A great clarifying shampoo. A little goes a long way

It works so well - I typically use it once a month with thick, curly hair. I lather it in on my scalp for 30-45 seconds, rinse and add conditioner to the ends. I do apply a leave in conditioner afterwards to help hydrate the scalp again but there's no leftover product afterwards!

I guess that is the purpose of this shampoo since it said “chelating”, but it totally dried out my hair to the max, will not recommend and will not repurchase.
