LamazeFreddie The Firefly Highchair Toy

This little toy has an amazing amount of interactive items for a small toy. The suction cup is strong - it hasn't broken free since I initially stuck it to the tray weeks ago. The yellow part of the base can also tighten so the entire firefly doesn't wiggle as much, or loosen to allow it to move more freely. The ball in the center spins and has beads inside that make noise. The lower wings are crinkly fabric. Overall I'm very pleased with the construction and best of all - my daughter loves to play with this toy.

My newest grand baby loves this—especially chewing on the antennas. It sits a little bit tilts but she swats it around so vigorously that it’s rarely still long enough to notice. Keeps baby occupied while waiting for food and bottle.

I was hoping to be one of the lucky ones that got a toy with a good suction cup...nope. Just the weight of the toy pulled it off. It's a cute toy so my solution was to by some of those sticky black pads that go on the dashboard of your car to hold your phone. I bought a package of 8 for a reasonable price and used 3 (I bought 3 toys with the same bad suction cups) under the suction cups and THEY WORK! Yay! My 7 month of granddaughter hasn't pulled it off yet!!!

Adorable high chair toy. Keeps baby occupied while you shovel food in her mouth. Less hitting the spoon and flinging baby food all over!

The suction cup secures great right out of the box. I love that there are all sorts of things to keep my daughter interested, many of which are her favorite activities to do when playing with her other toys. It's a great addition to our toys we can take to restaurants and family gatherings.

My grandson loves this toy. It's sticks very well to the high hair and amuses him while I'm preparing food. It's very bright and colorful and the shapes turn. Their are pieces that spin and make noise. I'm very pleased with this cute high chair toy.

My 8 month old daughter is very entertained by this toy! but the suction doesn't work that great sometimes.

I bought this to keep my baby distracted in her high chair while I get her food ready. It does achieve that purpose for brief periods of time but she tends to lose interest quite quickly. It does engage her for longer if I play with her and show her how to play with the various sensory bits.It is sturdy (has been dropped many times), easy to clean with soapy water (the wings are the only bits that aren't plastic and are made of fabric, but they dry very quickly and are usually completely dry before the next meal) and it has good suction power on an IKEA high chair if you tighten the base. Baby also tends to bite down on some parts of the toy and even though they seem quite rigid, they've never hurt her gums.

If I had heeded the negative reviews, I would have believed it’s the maker’s fault that the suction won’t hold. But it DOES hold on plastics and placemats really well and if you twist the flower on the base it increases the suction. If it doesn’t stick to your ur highly polished or uneven surface you need to think about why rather than blame the toy.Like all toys, my grandchild is captivated for a while and it holds his attention long enough for his Mum to prepare food. It’s well-made, bright, and will grow with him over the next 6 months as he learns to move different parts of it.

This is the second time I've purchased this toy as a gift. I originally had this toy myself as a child so it was pure nostalgia that led me to buy it the first time, but my nephew adores it, it's one of his favourites. It keeps him completely occupied when he's in the high chair waiting for his dinner. Owing to this success, I bought it for my friend's 6 month old. She stuck it on his walker and he's been obsessed with it since. Loves it! He is NOT a gentle player, he smacks it, pulls at it, headbutts it... but it's held up really well and still looks good as new :) Highly recommended.

Good enough for a little bit, something to only get out when feeding them and not all the time so that they don't get used to it. Difficult to clean, unless you soak it, which will then take the material a while to dry. Main good thing is the suction so that they don't knock it off but there are better toys out there for cheaper to be honest

I bought this toy for my 8 month old grandson. Looks great and lots to “play” with but the suction cup is not strong enough for the height of the toy and after a few minutes it falls over. It stays upright a bit longer if you wet the suction cup but still keels over after a while. I have bought other makes of suction toy and they stay up forever or until you prise them off. Considering the cost, not really worth the money.
