Going to Oktoberfest 25 and wanted to get these in US instead of Germany. They seem pretty well made, definitely not a costume, seem authentic to me. Not sure why all the comments about ordering way up. I'm 6' 175lbs and wear a 33 in Levi jeans. I ordered a 34 and they seem perfect. Plenty of room in the waist but maybe a little snug in the upper thigh.. I wore for an hour and they started to relax so I'm happy with 1 size up.On a side note, I did also order the longer ones too.. didn't like them, too bulky and heavy for travel so keeping these.

These lederhosen are high quality. I ordered a waist size that was one size larger than I usually wear based on other reviews and am glad I did - the waist size of the lederhosen I received was just just a little too loose, but I'm glad I got the larger size because the fit in the seat and the thighs was a bit snug. Had I ordered my true size, they would have been way too snug in the seat and the thighs. The length of the shoulder straps can be adjusted with the buckles on front cross piece, but there should be a way to hide the loose ends. All-in-all for $100 bucks they are a really fine product.

I've always wanted lederhosen, so I figured this year is the year. Bought the 34 and 38 sizes because of the frequently returned label, buy the bigger size.I'm a 32 waist on all my pants and the 34 was near impossible to sit down in. The 38 size fits great, I can sit and move around much much easier. The color looks great and the quality seems pretty high.

Love these! Great option for a high-quality octoberfest outfit with quick, seamless, no-risk delivery. This item is made with quality materials and craftsmanship, is definitely legit suede, and was seriously comfortable to wear. Only downside - for which I will not deduct starts because there are free returns - is the fit. Took me a few tries to find the right size for me so it might be worth buying 2-3, and choosing the best-fitting one and returning the rest. I would recommend buying the size 1 to 2 sizes larger than what you think you need and just see how it fits. But once you find the right one, these are a great option for al your Octoberfest needs! Zufa!!!

After becoming frustrated woodcarving with a very expensive and as it turns out cheap and torn canvas apron that was in my way more that a safety and cleanup help I came to the realization that lederhosen tracht would be the ideal clothing that both stayed out of my way and didn't make a nuisance of itself, is sturdy and long lasting, and is good protection against a slipped carving cut. I already own a black suede leather vest, American style, that I was given for Christmas in the 80s to protect me torso carving. I also have special pair of carving gloves.Add to all that it is looks nice to wear around the house. Since I live in America I won't wear it outside the house or yard except for Oktoberfest celebrations, costume parties, and Halloween and it is also very nice for those things if a bit expensive for my budget.The fit is true to size contrary to what many are claiming. I bought a 33" (48cm) and could of bought a 32" or even a 30" when taking into consideration the stretching and break-in period completing. That said there is a leather drawstring in the back with which you can tighten them somewhat & the suspenders when they are needed with such heavy pants. I like them better somewhat loose, eventually a bit baggy.It comes with an extra leather drawstring and an extra button. It does not comes with an extra strap and strap binders, neither the ornate front binder or the small plain one you use to make an X in the back.I order brown/dark brown and it's a nice brown and the stitching is clean, strong, and attractive. The outfit looks very nice. You won't be embarrassed to wear it to Oktoberfest, a costume party, Halloween; although yes, people will look at me funny when they visit my door and I'm sitting in these carving.

Did not include the straps like the photo indicated. These were much too tight in thighs and the waist is too big. I missed my return window and I can’t even return anymore even though the straps are missing

Great quality held up very well to a full week in Germany for Octoberfest. This set is a little more expensive than other sets here on Amazon bit do yourself a favor and spend the extra. My brother purchased a full kit from another vendor and the leather quality was atrocious, he regrets not going with this pair. It definitely runs on the small size, I went a size up. It takes a night for it to break in, was stiff and a little hard to sit down the first night, understandable for thick leather pants. I would recommend wearing it for a hour or two around the house when you first get it. Do some squats, walk around, dance on your kitchen table, emulate the Octoberfest vibes, breaking it in a little will make your night out more comfortable.

Just to let y'all know, it has the fuzzy side of the leather facing out. The leather looks fake because it is exactly 1 color (fuzzy light brown), but it does feel nice and it is leather. I added some leather conditioner and rubbed it a little to add some more natural leather look (compared to the absolute uniform color). I didn't like the brown color that it arrive with, but after adding some conditioner the color looks a bit darker and adds a bit of depth to the leather.Overall, I am happy with the purchase and fits well. I ordered a little bit bigger than I need so that I can feel relaxed, but the back of the pants has a leather spot to make the pants a bit smaller or bigger. I should have bout a 34, but I really like the comfortable feel.
