Solid phone, great user experience, quality feel. Moderate latency added.
I have tested every IP phone I can get my hands on from a myriad of manufacturers. Cisco has great engineering, good voice quality, low latency, but they have no BLF keys (or very few to speak of). Fanvil has great BLF keys which allow for pages of keys which works perfect, but the phone has quality issues and cuts out. Yealink has some decent phones, but their flagships like the T48g have major latency on their audio. Note, this is not network related latency; every phone takes time to process the packets, and some do it MUCH faster than others (my testing has yielded about a 200ms gap in the speed of processing the voice packets from different phones and manufacturers). This Grandstream feels like a quality product, the screen is bright and brilliant, the pages of BLF keys is a perfect fit. Sometimes the screen doesn't move quite as fast as my hands do when I'm moving very fast, but it doesn't matter because the phone processes all key strokes faster than it displays on screen, meaning I am not limited in how fast I can move despite a 100ms delay on screen sometimes. This phone adds about 60-80ms in additional latency over my "fastest" phones I am saying are zero. I would like to NOT have that added latency which can add up when you top it with 250ms of latency from your SIP provider/internet, but the voice quality is outstanding and I know that is the likely cause of the delay. Much more and it would be outside what I'd accept; much less and I'd have a hard time measuring it (I can measure down to about 30ms).Great phone, about to buy a bunch more for our managers.

Great phone, better potential
This is a pretty good phone. Display is nice and having extra buttons is great. In fact, this is the primary reason of my purchase. I have also been using the GXP2140. I only have one gripe. I am either doing something wrong, there is a bug, or this is just the way it's intended to work. When I program the keys they work great, however when I'm on a call the display changes and no longer displays the name of each button I've programmed. My GXP2140 does this also. The difference is in this phone all the keys act like a line key while i'm on a call. For instance when I want to park a call, I hit the key I've programmed as park and it puts the call on hold and opens up a new line. It does not park the call. The workaround is if I want to park or transfer a call I must (while on the call) go to the home screen where the button labels are present and hit the buttons I've programmed. This works perfectly. On my GXP2140 the programable buttons function the same regardless if you're on a call or not. I'm also having issues getting the BLF to actually light up. They'll show green/red on the LCD screen, but the lights won't actually light up. Only line keys light up. This problem doesn't exist on a GXP2140 configured the same. This is why I hope a future update will solve the issue.*** 8/10/2016 UpdateAfter the latest software update all problems described in my review have been corrected. This is an excellent product. 5 stars...

Nice Phone and Good Features for the Price
I just installed my first GXP2170 and am happy with it so far. I am using it on a 3CX PBX and it was easy to get working. It has a nice screen and the audio is great on both the handset and the speakerphone. I have not tested the Bluetooth capability yet, but that is a nice feature to have. It comes with a power adapter, but I am not using that as it supports POE and that works fine. It also has a desk stand and a wall mount. I was a bit disappointed in the shipping as Amazon shipped it without boxing it up in another box - the labels were stuck directly on the manufacturer's box and it was not sealed with tape so I am lucky I got everything intact and undamaged.

Phone does as intended without issue
I use this phone with a Grandstream Umc6202 2 port device and it synced the data pre programmed to it without issue. Using the handset it's clear and sounds good. I picked up a wireless headset attachment and it works amazing without issue for it.Cons:Bluetooth had issues with a cheap headset I used with my phone. It would only work as a speaker or a microphone but not both. It was a really cheap headset so I am not to worried about that. Some buttons a little small like the headset button.

STILL No volume control with Bluetooth headset
Update 2021-05-18Just installed latest firmware. BIN file properties say March 2021. STILL NO BLUETOOTH HEADSET VOLUME CONTROL. How absolutely STUPID is that? This is a GREAT PHONE that does EVERYTHING I WANT IT TO EXCEPT ONE LITTLE THING. ONE!!!! ONE THING!!!!AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!Original review:Quick setup. Good audio. Looks like nice features.BUT...I bought this for the sole purpose of using a bluetooth headset. My headset connected OK, sounds pretty good. But the volume control on the phone does nothing for a BT headset. The volume control on the BT headset does nothing when connected to this phone. I found a 'bluetooth compatibility list' on Grandstream's web site and it specifically states"Volume adjustment and redial are not implemented".Uh.... WHAT???Unacceptable. Please please please realize that the ability to control the volume on a headset, during a call, is CRITICAL.I put in a support ticket with GS. I will return here after I get a response, and will absolutely return here if the fix it.

Decent phone at a good value. Slight issue in WebGUI with recent FW releases
Ordered a few of these for my office, and have been very happy with them so far.I'm running them using the INCLUDED adapter.Works well with my Plantronics Voyager legend.Currently using them with FreePBX running asterisk 14.THE ONLY issue that * I * have run into yet, is that the the two most recent FW versions have an issue where the WebGUI has new features that are blank. As in there is a menu option for the new feature, but when you select it, you get an error or blank page. Have tried resetting and reflashing, downgrading then upgrading, no luck. But OVERALL, i have had no issues with the phones performance or screen-Gui features.

Good overall
Quality device physically but software has issues, read belowI love using this phone, it is well built. Buttons are solid but maybe just a bit hard to press.SIP accounts are easy to configureScreen background is easy to customizeCustom ring tones are difficult to setup and tones in the phone are pretty bad. You can not just load sound file you like.

Lifesaver during the Pandemic
Starting in March, like many, I began working from home because of the Rona. Using a persistent site-to-site VPN to the corporate office I registered this SIP phone to our asterisk PBX and my extension. I spend a LOT of time on conference calls with vendors and coworkers and having a SIP device with clear, loud speakerphone and quick direct dialing to other internal extensions has been a lifesaver. This phone has been stable, had no issues configuring it or keeping it connected as long as my internet stayed stable.

Très compliqué à installer sur une box internet
Destiné à notre entreprise, nous avons passé une journée à essayer de l'installer sans succès. Amazon , notre opérateur internet, la notice. Personne n'a réussi à nous venir en aide.

very nice phone
good solid voip phone / nice feature set / good price:features balance. Works well with either generic cloud voip service provider or with a more classic voip hosted server (3cx in this case). Good quality sound, nice solid build, easy to setup and deploy, all good.

Fantastic piece of kit, one of the finest products I've ever purchased!
This phone is amazing and set up is so easy. It has a plethora of features and I've been recently working on a program for my own system to send calls to it from my PC because it even has that feature. SIP phones offer so much that makes it incredible even for home use, in fact, we're now in the process of moving to SIP phones across our house. The other day I received two calls at about the same time, and because this phone has two lines it was possible to put one person on hold whilst I dealt with another client. Also, I work from home so we have a PBX powered by Asterisk that forwards all business calls only to this phone and home calls to all phones in the house, so having two lines on this phone is great!

Gute Entscheidung
