Challenging and engaging
All of the information is there, but you will need to think outside the box and pay close attention. Typically these have taken me around 1-1.5 hours to complete, but this one proved to be extra challenging, with two of us taking almost 3 hours to fill out the suspect sheet and find the culprit. Loved the use of external resources for clue hunting; it made it really engaging!!

Great Purchase!
My 13 year old daughter loves these! This is our third one and they are fantastic. Might be a little too easy for those that play these games often, but it is perfect for teens.

Great game but not perfect
I have played similar who done it games and love them. This was no different, so much fun. Kind of a throw away because how many times do you want to play? Well worth the money and truly a great game. There were some glitches along the way but kind of made it more of a challenge but not more fun, a bit frustrating. You will see this when you play but no reason at all not to get this one. I would recommend this game to anyone who has a few hours to kill because its not a quick half hour game like UNO. Totally on board with looking for more games like this. Loved it and worth the parts of the game that did not quite plan out as they should.

Good Quality Mystery with Plenty to Work Through
We enjoyed this one. This was the first time solving a "Murder Mystery Party Case Files" brand mystery, but we've solved many other brands. One of us prefers the detective style mystery games (favorite being "Unsolved Case Files") with less puzzles and usage of the internet. This fit that mostly. The online elements were well put together. The physical items were also quite nice and authentic feeling. For example, the photos were on real looking photo paper, the official documents were on heavier paper with nice letterhead, and there was even a journal with handwritten style script. Overall better quality items than "Unsolved Case Files." There were a lot of different papers to go through and a decent narrative. I will admit, there were a couple pieces that didn't fit or make sense until the epilogue explanation at the end, but it didn't hurt the overall mystery. (There is a misprint in a clue posted online, but if you're working the case correctly it shouldn't matter.) We look forward to solving another mystery from this brand!

Not as good as it should have been
This was the first of these we have played. Very frustrating because you assume you have everything you need to solve the crime, in the CASE FILE. You dont, unfortunately, and that should not be how these things work. You should not have to got to the website to get additional hints/information, especially when, in this particular case, there was any easy way to give you the clues you needed, in one the documents already provided. It just needed to be writen better/differently. The documents provided were of good quality but again, all the info, hidden as best as it could be, should have been provide in the case file. Hopefully others mysteries are better arranged. This is one we probably won't pass along to friends or family because these are play one time only games.

Fun!
My husband ordered this “who done it” mystery detective game as a surprise for date night. Initially I was a little skeptical, but once we started reading the case file, researching the characters & discussing alibis, it was actually quite fun & challenging. The game included a variety of unique clues that required interaction & some cooperative detective work! Overall it took us about 2.5 half hours to successfully solve the case. The game has a website that allows you to check your answer at the end to see if you did, in fact, find the true killer. The website is also available throughout the game in case you get stuck or need a little nudge in the right direction. Overall I thought the game was well thought out & entertaining!
