Solid soil thermometer
Out of the box the soil thermometer seems to be good quality and working. Home air temp is 70 and the thermometer is reading 70. It was wrapped in double bubble wrap and boxed. Amazon packed it in their paper bag but the box was not bent or damaged. I will be using this to check soil temperatures for fertilizer applications. Happy with my purchase.

Very accurate
The numbers are easy to read. It picks up the temperature of the soil quickly and efficiently. Solid construction in simple to use. Well worth the price.

Accurate and Useful for Indoor Fruit Tree
It does what it's supposed to do. No complaints at all. It's very accurate, I even tested it against kitchen thermometers and it's spot on. Very helpful to monitor soil conditions for my picky indoor fruit tree.

Good thermometer
This is an excellent soil thermometer. I have 5 of these outside that I use to do my planting throughout the year and ensure the ground is the right temperature.

I expect this to be a good addition for my garden soil. Some plants will stress if planted in soil not sufficient warmed.

Put the thermometer in and after a day the screen fogged up and will not clear.

Broke first time when I inserted it into the soil, when I pulled it up the probe dislocated - too bad I didn't try it while I could return it so now I'm stuck with a broken expensive trinket. It looked like it's working fine, but why so flimsy :(
