looks like a million bucks
I have always run K&N air filters, my quad, my mud truck, even my work truck has a K&N! It was no surprise to get the same quality for my boat.. This is Coast Guard Approved, looks like a million bucks, and made my 4.3 V6 run 1-2 miles faster on GPS! It even fit under my dog house motor cover with no modifications. I did have to use the 1350 K&N vent kit to finish it off. Get one, you won't be sorry!

Poor packaging
The air cleaner came in a plastic bag and had dents in the top metal cover. The assembly was very expensive . Stop sending packages in Plastic Bags!

Fit perfectly on my boat, even with a higher intake manifold
By fit "perfectly" I mean just barely, but it fit. Really nice replacement for the standard aluminum flame arrestor. No engine cover needed. This is a little bit of bling as well as being functional and sturdy.

LOVE ...LOVE...LOVE IT!!! NO HP LOST Like an OE flame arrestor does!!!!
LOVE ....LOVE ....LOVE it!! After completely rebuilding and upgrading my Mercruiser V6 4.3 Liter it is the cherry on top! I did a lot of searching and found that a flame arrestor can rob you of UPTO 21HP!!! THAT"S NUTS!!! K&N flame arrestor 0...YES ZERO HP LOST!!! I would have switched to a V8 but a drag racing buddy of mine sold me a perfect 4.3 liter with less than 100k miles from a GM s10 blazer for $200! Cant pass that up when he wanted $3k for a custom built motor. I still did a complete rebuild because a marine cam has 30 more degrees of duration and the lobs are closer together. I also reworked the cylinder heads with a port job and 1.6 roller rockers vs stock 1.5 ratio friction rockers. My Celebrity 181BR should get up and move a little faster now!:) FYI...You will need a vent kit that matched your vent hoses to attach them! Mine were 1/2" so I purchased 2 of the K&N 85-1350 and they worked like a charm as well.

GOT IT, works
does not come with screw, gasket, washer, oil or instructions, not pre-oiledfilter looks like it doesnt fit housing but it does FYI

It's more like an air filter
It does the job but it's built more like an air filter my old Flame Arrestor was one solid piece. This one is in 3 pieces and it's a pane to take off and put back on. Especially if you run the breather tubes to it now you have 5 different pieces to deal with. If you don't like being frustrated I would suggest going with a different one or you could just leave it on forever and never take off
