Q: Is this a good thickener for use with alumilite quick set rtv silicone?

The Thi-Vex is normally used to thicken brush-ons like the rebound 25 silicone which checks its tendency to flow especially when the object being molded is in the vertical. The alumilite quickset silicone is not a brush on silicone. It is meant for pouring and therefore does not need the thi-vex thickener. If you make it thicker, it will be difficult for it to copy very intricate features.I hope this helps.

Q: Will this work with Mold Maker by Alumilite?

We don't test Thi-Vex with non-Smooth-On silicones.

Q: Can I use this with OoMoo30?

It will work for OoMoo30, but I had much better results using rebound 25 with the thivex
