Dark Dog Organic Cranberry Mint

I normally don't review items with descriptions. (I usually just put five stars if I like it or one if I don't) Anyways, this story made me have to write a review. As the summer approaches, I like to have cold drinks. I want something with caffeine but I really hate the feeling I get from normal energy drinks. One day I stumbled upon Rockstar making an Organic energy drink. I didn't really know what that meant exactly but I bought it anyways. I immediately enjoyed it and decided to do more research. The biggest difference, I believe, in organic energy drinks and normal ones is the caffeine. Orange energy drinks typically use natural coffee beans. Thw caffeine in normal energy drinks gives me a jittery feeling. But the organic energy drinks give me a boost in energy that is maintained and smooth feeling. After my Rockstar Organic, I went out and bought five different organic energy drinks. I tried all of them and measured test versus price. The Dark dog original organic energy drink tasted the second best (and that was a very close second) and had a price point lower that all others. I went ahead and bought a twelve pack and was very happy with my decision. Now the part of this story I love is after I bought my second twelve pack, I got an email the next day. Now, like I mentioned, dark dog was the lowest price per ounce out of the five I tried. (it was actually three to four cents lower that competition) which is a big deal. So after my second order I get an email from Dark Dog out of the blue saying "we are thrilled you put your trust in our company and want to thank you by giving you a coupon for 10% off your next order". That just doesn't happen much anymore. I was thrilled, I immediately told the two people in my office this company rocks! I hope this story gets passed on as a symbol for what companies should strive for. They didn't have to do that but because they did, I am loyal to them now. Great company, great drink, GREAT PRICE!

Oh my gosh this is the tastiest energy drink ive tried and it tastes like a lightly sweetened juice.... well not for me personally, i thought it tasted plenty sweet but my friend thought it was not super sweet like i thought, but i rarely eat or drink sugary foods so i think i have a lower tolerance for sweet tastes..so 11 grams of sugar is more than enough for me! i felt really balanced and energized upon drinking this drink. i like that they dont add any fake ingredients or sugars they just put less. this gave me the energy i needed to gogo dance for 6 hours and i made a nice tip so i am happy. they come in skinny tall cans.. really quick and easy to drink so im very excited. i just put one in my purse and go its great. i drank half a can and felt the energy immediately. i love that its all organic ingredients.. thats important. all organic sources of vitamins from fruits.

Very good energy drink. I have tried both the Original and the Coconut Water flavors. I really liked the Original, to compare the taste to a mainstream energy drink, I'd say it's most similar to a regular Red Bull. I happen to like that flavor, so I was pretty happy with it. I love that it's organic and has natural sugars. As for the Coconut Water one, I thought it had an overwhelming flavor of Yerba Mate. I personally don't like Yerba Mate, I wish it tasted more like regular Coconut Water. The Coconut Water was more of a subtle flavor which was a bit overpowered by the Yerba Mate. But it was ok, organic, and had only 50 calories, so it was a pretty decent drink despite the Yerba Mate.

Ordered these energy drinks to try a mix up on energy regimen throughout the day. The ingredients on these don't read like a lab test. Lots of organic simple to understand ingredients. Ordered the original energy drink flavor. Really enjoyed the taste. A little sweet but not overwhelming in that sense. Light carbonation, not too much but plenty there to enjoy. Felt a nice clean boost, not too jittery, not shaky afterwards. Nice sustained energy bump for a few hours. Both myself and the gf, a self proclaimed energy drink buff loved these and we've tried quite a few energy drinks. Austria by way of Italy.. Interesting name. Great drink. Really enjoyed these and with two of us going at them could see us restocking them fairly often. May have to try that coconut water flavor next. Blood Orange also sounds great. I'm hooked. These were great. Loved the non scary ingredients and nice not jittery boost. Recommended.

WORKS. If you need caffeine, this is a great alternative. That said, It seemed to suppress my appetite... and thus created a hard crash. I had to remember to eat in order to avoid. On top of that (which may or may not be a negative) it reminded me of a really bad czech beer. Carbonated, and just a tinge of sweetness in the after taste.

Holy Molly this Dink is amazing ! initially caught my eye the organic aspect of it . Anything with that tittle organic is worth my research for me to try. I got the coconut water flavor and I am sold. love the taste so much. I have never been big on energy drink one for the taste ... the one I don't mind the taste is Redbull, and it has never really done anything to me ...energy-wise. the other brand that does get me hyped I get crash side effects after and hated the taste. well, let me tell you this get's me pumped up so much. this morning I was half asleep and had a meeting call. I drank one can and I was on fire. i was so concentrated and just into the call at full force. 7 hours have gone by and I still feel pumped hahaha love it . best part no crash..
