Starfrit The Rock Classic 9.5" (24cm) Fry Pan, Non-Stick, Black

My father introduced this pan to me; granted, it had already been through cooking hell, but it was the first pan I had ever used to cook anything for myself, and it is an amazing pan. It starts to degrade if you don't take care of it properly, as was the case with the first pan. Eventually, as new company moved in and they roughhoused with the pan, it lost its nonstick properties, because they basically went against all of what the instructions say to care for the pan. So I ended up buying a new one for myself and I didn't expect it to be THIS amazing. There's literally nothing sticking, neither during cooking nor during cleaning. I'll be the only one using it, and thus the only one who knows how to respect the instructions and keep this thing nonsticky for years to come. I'm so glad this was my first pan. Edit: Nearly two years later and I just made a batch of scrambled eggs. Anyone knows how hard it is to get that crap off of your pan. Works great! Edit: As of 2021/11/21, I've decided to retire the pan. It's sticking too much for me to clean easily. It has lasted past three years (that's how long the instructions say it will last). I attached pictures of the brand new one (has a slightly different design) and the one being retired on the right. The new design seems to have less white flecks and a grittier texture on the outside than the old design. New handle is a tiny bit thicker than the old one.

Heavy duty. Even heating, and the base is perfectly flat so it is great for glass top stoves. Food doesn’t stick for easy clean up.

My absolute favorite frying pan. I always go back to this brand when needing a good fryer. I have purchased other expensive brands in the past, but always come back to this one for my every day cooking pan.

I bought this pan because of 1) the good reviews, and 2) the low price. It seemed like a great fry pan to take on a camping trip, without spending a fortune. Well, it performed very well on the camping trip, so well that when we got home, I started using it all the time (in place of my more expensive, non-stick fry pan). The non-stick surface works well, it cleans up very easily, and it seems rather rugged. Happy camper here!

This is the only Non Stick pan I own. I got rid off all my "Coated" pans and use cast iron or stainless now. This pan if used as instructed will not peel, stick or breakdown after many uses. A shot of pan coating and your set but never go beyond medium heat setting!

When I had to replace out old pans which no longer had any teflon or anti stick properties, I picked these because we had previously bought 2 different sized sauce pans and wanted to stay with the same brand for appearance sake. The price was comparable to the more name brand options and the pans are great. No more scraping crusted eggs or spices off when cleaning, the pans need a rinse and a pass over with the dish wand and they are clean.

This pan rocks! I like how nothing sticks to it. I have cooked pancakes, french toast, hamburger meat, and frozen meals that did not require water. NOTHING was burned at the bottom. It cooks clean through with good distribution. I feel it is a good size for cooking a sandwich or other foods. I would recommend this to anyone. It has lasted in the dishwasher and with good soap, it does not feel greasy. Need a great cooking pan? Get this, you won't be disappointed.

If you want a fry and/or baking pan that is both easy to use and easy to clean The Rock brand of pans is just what you need. What I love about the frying pans is that you can use very little oil and still get that fried meat taste without all the extra calories. I bought the 9.5 inch pan to round out my collection of this wonderful cookware. I also highly recommend the other sauce pans and the larger fry pans that come with lids.

Very pleased with this 'Starfrit, The Rock' frying pan! The 9.5" size is perfect for my needs! The non-stick coating is substantial and effective! The weight of the frying pan is also good as it easy to move onto the burner on my electric stove. The handle is comfortable to hold. I have not used the frying pan in the oven so far but have no doubt it will not have any problems!

(en français plus bas) Easy to clean! No need to add fat for cooking, in addition it cooks evenly! I tried to cook eggs without adding any fat and WOW! The underside of the eggs becomes a beautiful golden. And the eggs are delicious. I recommend it to all. FINALLY a skillet with non-stick does not scratch. In short, a purchase that's worth it. I have the impression that this is the last time I buy that kind of pan, since this one will remain good throughout life. Even the handle is made to go in the stove. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. :-) ---------------------------------- Facile a nettoyée! Pas besoin d'ajouter de gras pour la cuisson en plus de cuire uniformément! Je l'ai essayé sans gras pour faire cuire des oeufs et WOW!, le dessous des oeufs devient d'un beau doré et il sont délicieux. Je la recommande à tous. ENFIN une poêle dont l'antiadhésif ne s'égratigne pas. Bref, un achat qui en vaut la peine. J'ai bien l'impression que c'est la dernière fois que j'achète une poêle de ce genre, puisque celle-ci va restée bonne toute la vie. Même la poignée est faite pour aller dans le four. JE VOUS LA RECOMMANDE GRANDEMENT! :-)
