Can you print on both sides of this paper (Canon Pro Platinum)?

I have not yet opened the Canon Pro Platinum paper, but the previous version of this was not printable on the back. This paper - like most glossy papers from any manufacturer - has an imprint on the back. And, it is not glossy or anything.These photo papers are one-sided in general.

Would this paper work good for printing senior pictures on?

Most definitely! Best canon paper for that. Heavy stock, rich colors. Remember to set your Canon printer profile for Pro Plat for best results and use high quality printing.

Does printing material (not the ink finish) look, feel, & resemble a commercially printed/finished product. The paper itself. Is it real photo paper?

Heavy stock glossy paper, it's great for sharp images that have a TON of color and contrast. Landscape look gorgeous with this. Black & White... i'd personally use luster or canvas instead, looks better. Actually it's heavier quality than the standard prints you get commercially (like walmart).

I'm looking for a glossy Canon photo paper without any watermark in the back. Does anyone know if they still making them?

Yes, Photo Pro Platinum, Photo Paper Pro, Photo Paper Plus Glossy II, and Matte Photo Paoer. These are ones that I have on hand; there are probably even more. good luck!

Just works

Used this on my new Pixma G620, and it performed flawlessly. For the price, I feel like it delivers a ton of value, and the print quality is outstanding. I’ve been making framed 8×10 photos and chose the Pro Platinum paper for the added longevity and weight compared to the standard Plus Glossy II. I’ve come to realize that Canon makes excellent printers, and their papers really complement them well.

Super excellent paper

I've always used good photo paper for the printing of photos and graphics. One long-time friend of mine emails pictures of her teenage grandchildren, especially during special occasions in their lives. Just recently, I printed, and sent to my friend, several group pictures on four different kinds of photo paper, including Canon Platinum Pro. I also asked my friend to take a survey for me: Ask the kids, themselves; plus, give me her own opinion, of which prints were the most desirable. Those printed on the Platinum Pro were chosen as best by everyone -- and I wasn't really surprised. I should note, perhaps, that my computers and printers are top notch, and all prints I sent to my friend were excellent. Still, those printed on the Platinum Pro showed an astounding amount of detail. The results were easily as good as what one would expect from a professional studio; maybe even better I definitely recommend this product. It would be great for anyone, especially for those who want professional quality photos.
