Perfectly matches the farmhouse decor in my kitchen. (Yes, my home is actually a farm house on a farm). When a light is so high up on the ceiling, who cares how much it costs? No sense in spending a bunch of money for something nobody can get a good look at. This was perfect.

Easy installation

If you don't' have the plug this light plugs into your going to have to strip the wires back and do a splice. The wires are very small so its tricky. For those of you that have the plug this would work with it would be easy. The other 99.9% of us buyers it was not.

This is a very nice, classic looking light fixture. The light has a great satin/flat black finish. The only complaint that I have is that the nut that holds the light bracket to the base is silver and stands out. I took a permanent marker and colored the silver nut black before I installed it. Great light for the money!

Bought this light to use in a lamp that I made out of an old hollow log. Works really good and easy to install for what I needed. I love the in-line on & off switch. I would definitely buy this light again.

Fine for what I needed but be aware that the directions say you can use spot light bulbs. You can but only if you buy an extender. And the head of the bulb does not fit inside the housing.

Needed some accent lights to brighten upthe ceiling in our vacation log home. AlsoWanted to highlight the beautiful wood grain in our logs. These were the 3rd set of lights I bought after the other 2 sets didn't work light I wanted. The 50 watt halogen bulbs gave me the affect I was looking for. FINALLY!!!

Looks great. Makes me wish it had worked out for me. I bought 2 of them. The bracket that came with it and the screws to put through the bracket to attach the lights do not work well for the application. If your bracket is flush mount to the wall or ceiling the screws will not be long enough to make it through the fixture. The screws also are round shaft in a oval hole with nothing to lock or hold them in place. Even with the provided nut they still move around turn, I was never able to get the fixture mounted after the bracket was attached to the lighting box. Also check the wire connectors, both of the ones I received have wires that were pulled out of the connector.I haven't sent them back yet because I'm looking for a fix to the issue because I really like theook of the lights and want them to work out for me.
