Astro Pneumatic Tool Co 1128 Mini Impact Ratchet Wrench, 3/8"

Master tech of 45 years here...I've been using regular 3/8 palm air ratchets, my go to, since they came out years ago. They work great, reasonable price and last a few years. A lot of the time I break things free by hand and use it as a spinner. I replaced my last one with the ASTRO a few weeks ago. I bought it because it was impacting instead of an air motor. It works great. Lots of power, easily removed 8mm manifold bolts. Trigger feel is great, just like your impact gun you can feather the trigger to get the torque right, like say a valve cover or battery terminals or hit it hard to tight 8 or 10mm bolts. It's about the size of a 3/8 palm ratchet but a lot stronger with great trigger feel.

It's only day one, but they should've named this thing the Mean Bean. It's awesome for tight spaces and its quiet compared to the impact guns. I feel like I should've had this all along.

This little air ratchet is extraordinarily handy. The high RPM runs bolts in and out very quickly, but the modest torque means you won’t break fasteners, yet it has plenty of torque to overcome corrosion or nylock friction. This is a great tool for a pro where time is money and you just need to get in and out. I don’t often give 5-star reviews, but this one is absolutely deserved.

Had this for a few years before it stopped working. Works great for small fasteners.

I was questioning if this ratchet was going to be good but I can now say that it was a great investment. Ive been testing the product and still currently using it. I gotta say this ratchet is fast! Compared to my coworker’s other brand pneumatic ratchet, the Astro is much more faster. The non stopping feature is a plus, helps a lot when it’s not trying to rip out of your hands after the bolt is tight. Overall you can’t go wrong especially with pricing.

Nice tool no issue, but leaves you wanting more power. I get it, it's not supposed to have a ton a power, but wish it had just a little more kick.

I know many complained about longevity of this tool. but my tool repair guy can get the rebuild kits and the cost of the tool make sense for me. I'll be more diligent with oiling the tool. But I love this ratchet. It's size, speed and strength making it my second go to tool. No regrets after 2 weeks of shop use.

had this tool for a month and had to send it back. It stripped inside the head. Got a replacement and it did the same thing. Tool not good at all. Shouldn't be call a impact. Don't waste your money

Small, lightweight, powerful. As an added bonus, it has a nasty little snarl to it. Not too loud, just enough to say it means business. Love it.

This little guy is so fast. I love it.
