I bought this grinder to replace one that just got mucky through the years. Some kind of build up that I couldn't really get rid of. So I bought this one to replace it. Absolutely love it. Clean, smooth feel, grinds beautifully, and pretty too. And the price is right.

Very handy and larger capacity.

These pepper mils are fabulous. They are sleek and modern, but still warm because they are made with beautiful wood! They will suit all sorts of decor. They are very effective at grinding. These replaced a set I had for over 20 years and the first thing I disliked on these new ones is that the openings are smaller than my old one. Also, the center bar that screws the top on this one is flexible. So it is a little bit of work to hold the bar just right so that it stands in the middle while you pour the salt or pepper corn in. If you don't do it just right, the long screw won't align with the top. However, that is not a deal breaker for me. Having said that, I would still recommend these because they are all unique, beautiful and once you get the salt and peppercorns in, they work bautifully.

I have been looking for a good pepper grinder for ages and had almost given up that they were made anymore. I've even splurged and tried very expensive brands---that turned out to be no better than the $12 ones that stop working after a couple of years. These hold a good amount of peppercorns and salt, and that's important to me because I cook every day and hate to be constantly refilling the pepper. They are easy to fill and feel good in the hand when using. They're sturdy, too. The grinder grinds the pepper well, I haven't had to struggle and fight with it like I have with some others. And there's no plastic on the outside of them to peel off and look terrible in a few months. I've been using these constantly every day for several months now and have no complaints. I have the feeling they will hold up over time. This mid-range priced set is better so far than the big brand named ones I've paid double for in the past. My daughter got a set, too. She's a foodie, always cooking and using them, and she loves them, too.

I was disappointed by the craftsmanship. One of them has a crack in it on the glue line, there are multiple spots where it is pitted. And the stainless ring looks to be to big compared the the wood so it just sticks out. Very unhappy with this product and it's complete lack of craftsmanship. I would not gift this to someone or recommend the product to anyone. Haven't even loved them up because I am too disgusted with the poor quality. ...

These are giftable, I actually gave them as my 5th anniversary (wood) gift to my husband. They are easy to use, but the smallest grind is not as fine as nicer grinders on the market. Sturdiness I rated the lowest (3/5 stars) because the are likely to topple over, but they look great on my table setting!

The product is well made and easy to use.

Does not work. I got 2 for my father for Christmas. 1 did not work at all, the other worked slightly but corseness is not adjustable. Not easy to return and you have to pay for shipping to return,

Both Salt & Pepper grinders came with visible scratch marks on them. Can’t use it as a gift now. Disappointed
