Limited vinyl LP pressing including digital download. Digitally remastered edition. Butterfly is the sixth studio album by Mariah Carey, originally released on September 16, 1997. The album contained both hip hop and urban adult contemporary sounds, as well as some softer and more contemporary melodies. Throughout the project, Carey worked with Walter Afanasieff, with whom she had written and produced most of the material from her previous albums. She also worked with many famed hip hop producers and rappers, such as Sean "Puffy" Combs, Q-Tip, Missy Elliott and the Trackmasters. With the latter acts producing most of the album, Butterfly deviated from the contemporary sound of Carey's older work.

PERFECT!!!
Arrived in perfect condition! I have ordered vinyls before online and sometimes they have some type of defect or damage but this one was perfect which is Mariah Carey fashion. Butterfly is also my favorite album from Mimi so I was excited to hear it play so well on my record player.

amazing sound quality and it arrived in perfect condition. if you're debating on getting this or not, get it. Butterfly comes alive in vinyl form. so much more of the soundscaping jumps out.

A really GOOD press!
Great sounding vinyl repress, not amazing but great for sure. Bass is for sure audible and present but not at the frequency where you can totally feel it.Played on a vintage midrange system; Tube amp, TT and speakers all from the 60’s.As for the album itself, you already know it. A handful of great must have songs chopped up by sappy ones. Stay psyched!🤙
