Perfect addition to anyone struggling at this age for MATHS!
Our nephew was really struggling with MATHS. We got him this to do as the workbook is presented as more of fun than work. He loved it and it really helped improve his desire to learn maths and do maths. Highly recommended!

Great maths workbook for ages 9+ (or for those who struggle with maths)
This is a great maths workbook aimed for ages 8-9 or for those who struggle with maths who need extra help. The book has 40 exercises (on one page). The text is big and bold with a number of questions on each page. Each page is split into three 3 steps, the first step is a warm up which has questions that your child should know, step 2 is called rapid calculation which focuses on the topic, the final step is a challenge section which is designed to test your child on the topic. Each page is designed to take about 5mins to do meaning this is a quick resource that you can easily use.The book covers a wide range of topics from* rounding to the nearest 10 or 100 or 1000* addition and subtraction (involving 2 and 3 digits)* multiplication and division (6,7,9 times tables)* fractions, decimals and percentages* angles* symmetryAll the answers are at the back of the book.As you can see this book is basic maths workbook ideal for the age group and also great for older children who struggle with maths to help them.Overall this is a great workbook which I would happily recommend.

Excellent practice resource
I usually use Bond books but have found that the Lett books are also really good:- essentially one page of maths tasks per day- broken up into 3 sections - Warm-up, Rapid calculation, Challenge- each section has a target time to complete- nicely laid out- covers a range of mathematical principals incl. multiplication, division, fractions, measurements, etc.Overall I thought this was an excellent practice resource.
