Best I've Seen
2ND UPDATE 8/31/18: I bought these for the new horse I acquired in the summer of 2016. He wore them for three summers, living out 24/7, and they survived! They're looking pretty beat now and I will be replacing them for next summer, but these are seriously THE ONLY fly boots I have ever used that didn't collapse, fall off, end up smushing down to being 6" tall, etc. Their only downside is that they do rub him a bit, but then, most things do, it's a sensitive area and he wears them a lot. I still recommend these 100%.UPDATE 11/1/16: My horse wore these boots 24/7 for 2 summers, and at the end of this fly season, I cleaned them up and packed them away for next summer, still looking 100% wearable. They haven't crumpled, the mesh is still tight, and they hose clean easily. I am absolutely amazed by the durability of these boots; when I acquired a new horse this summer, you had better believe I immediately bought him his own set!Original Review:My horse lives out 24/7 and hates flies, so he wears fly boots pretty much 'round the clock during the warm months. When his old fly boots died a slow and very pathetic death, he needed something new, so I tried these.I've compared notes with others on the boots they bought for their horses, and these are far and away the best of them all. Yes, they wear; yes, the stays deform; yes, the velcro wears out; but compared to the other boots out there, these seem to last forever. They survived about half of the fly season and are still in fine shape to be re-used next year.Highly recommended.

Mule Approved
Mule worthy! I was skeptical about fly boots but this summer was just horrible and I had to do something. This is a great alternative to keeping gobs of pesticide on my poor mule's legs. They stay up pretty well, and so far in several weeks he's only ripped off one velcro wrap and I was able to stitch it back on. They wrap forward, so the bottom edge covers the crucial part at the back of the leg just above the hoof which for some reason flies are insanely attracted to. This gives that a flyscreen, and then on my 16hh mule they go a decent part of the way up the leg. THey SHOULD be sold with instructions about how best to use them. In my experience I line them up and do the top velcro first, then the next, then draw the bottom one up and around the bulb behind the hoof and tight to the front. Mr Mule never fusses when I am putting them on, I think he appreciates them.

Nice fit but slight design flaw.
I ordered these to replace a pair of Cashel fly boots. The Cashel boots had elastic/velcro closure which would accomodate several different horses. Living in Florida with lots of sun and water the elastic wore out quickly. These Kensington boots are easy to wrap, the velcro is adjustable and stays secure. They are light weight and can get wet then dry off quickly. The only complaint is the "stay" at the back that should keep it from twisting is hard plastic and one pushed through the material ( same as many fly masks are made from) and will not stay in. I have put a couple strips of duck tape down the length of the stay to keep it from poking his leg. Don't know how long that will last, but a cheap easy fix.Overall for the price they are OK.

Good fly boots just too small for my horse
I purchased these horse size boots in Sorel they arrived and we're just as described. Only issue I had was they are not large enough for my horses legs he is an older foundation quarter horse. I did try to use them the Velcro held the wraps in place well and the boots didn't slide down his legs. I liked that the colors are ones you can use to try and match your horses color if you don't want to stand out while they are being used. Just make sure to measure your horses legs before purchasing and match them up to the size chart.

these look like they will stay up better and not collapse down...
Fly boots are heavy duty and constructed well. I haven't used them enough yet, but compared to the Cahsel fly boots, these look like they will stay up better and not collapse down towards the fetlock. KKP usually has heavy duty, well made products so I wasn't surprised.**edited to add** I have used them now for 3 months and they are holding up well, and stay up without collapsing. Unfortunately another use I found for these fly boots was for holding a quart size bag of frozen water on the back of a bowed tendon. They worked wonderfully for that as well - just as good as expensive ice horse boots. I recommend them for that purpose if anyone is looking to ice their horses leg while saving some money. Yes, you have to adjust them as the ice melts, but you have to do that with other ice boots too so it really is any different in my opinion. This is my second bowed tendon rehab so I have used both ice horse boots and these for icing so I am giving an honest comparison.

Maybe some quality control issues?
I ordered two sets of these for my grey gelding. Two of the four boots have performed well- they are easy to put on, they stay in place, and so far are no worse for the wear other than being dirty (after about 2 weeks of wear). The other two (not sure if they are a "pair" or one boot from each set) had the velcro straps tear along the seam where they attach to the boot on the second wear. On one boot, it was only one of the straps, and the other all three tore clean off (still stuck where they should have been, but the whole boot was on the ground).I see some other reviewers have had this same issue. I sent the damaged ones back and just received a replacement set (next day- thanks Amazon!). The replacement process was quick and painless. I will update this review depending on how the boots work out.
