NIV Study Bible, Fully Revised Edition (Study Deeply. Believe Wholeheartedly.), Leathersoft, Navy/Tan, Red Letter, Comfort Print

Last summer, when I first heard that Zondervan was going to publish a fully revised edition of the New International Version Study Bible (NIVSB), I immediately knew that I was going to get one. In November 2020, I was finally able to purchase one. Over the past four months since I acquired it, my new NIVSB has far exceeded my expectations for quality of construction and content.Here are some of the features I like best:• The beautifully rendered NIV2011 Bible text – a modern English translation that is so very easy to read and understand.• Over 21,000 study notes that explain the text in clear and concise terms. Notes are found on the bottom of each page.• Full-color photos, drawings, maps, charts, and other graphics interspersed throughout the text. Includes fourteen full-color maps (printed on regular Bible paper) in the back of the Bible.• Center column cross-references.• NIV Comfort Print (9-point text, 7.5-point notes) is very easy on my eyes.• Words of Jesus in red letters; the shade of red is dark and very easy to read.• Excellent quality paper (about 30-32gsm) shows little or no “ghosting”/show-through.• Soft and supple two-tone (navy blue and tan) Leathersoft cover.The only thing I can find to criticize about my new NIVSB is the number and quality of the ribbon markers. For some reason, Zondervan only included two thin (7mm), very mediocre quality ribbons with this Bible. (I think a large and heavy Bible like this, containing over 2,500 pages, should have at least three 10mm silk ribbons in order to do it justice.)Despite my one minor criticism, I love my new NIVSB. I’ve been using it every day for reading and study, and it is holding up very well – it still looks like new! Without question, the NIVSB Fully Revised Edition is the best study Bible I’ve ever owned. Most highly recommended.

Best Bible ever, gives background, maps, stuff you don't get without a Study Bible!

I love to use this one as an extra translation and for extra information when I need extra help in bible study. The print is easy to read. It comes in a sturdy box and has good notes in small print at bottom of page.it is a good bible as an extra help for my studies as I read several different translations.

I am so happy with this Bible. It has beautiful beige and dark blue leather covers and pretty gold on the sides of the pages. I’m excited to have the study Bible so I can read a real book instead of looking online. I recommend this for everyone.

This Bible is beautiful and full of information. I love that each chapter begins with a history and background of that chapter with maps and other color pictures to help give better understanding.
