02 F150 trans pan.
Dorman pan was perfect fit for my 02 F150 and has the added drain plug. I did need to drop the original pan to change the filter. That is a messy job. Probably will never have to change the filter again. The drain plug will allow me to change out some of the trans fluid incrementally and with much less mess.

The drain plug is really nice for transmission servicing
Fits as it should on my 84 f150. Good solid part.

Fantastic
Great pan fit with no modification sealed good using the original reusable seal. I did strip the paint inside like some others did factory was not painted nor will this one be. I also used the advice of some others I don't remember the part number but it's in these reviews for the drain plug. I'm sure the original one would work but they use a really crappy aluminum crush washer and I could see how it could leak. The replacement plug that people are recommending uses a rubber o-ring and it seals up nicely no leaks. 10 out of 10 would recommend

A must have for any Crown Vic owner
Consider this an essential upgrade for your aging Crown Vic. I bought 2 of these pans for my pair of retired police cars. Both (2011 models) having high miles and idle hours with no signs of the transmissions ever being serviced. The pan itself is made of good quality steel. Fairly thick for a mass produced replacement priced at 30 bucks. Finish looks like powder coat and seems durable enough to last as long or longer than the car itself. Mating surface was clean and smooth. Fit fine. Bolt pattern isn't 100% perfect, but all bolts threaded in by hand with a few touching the edge of a hole. I used the factory reusable pan gasket and highly recommend that over those cheap stamped out rubber gaskets that always leak. Now for the main reason anyone would want this pan - the drain plug feature. I did replace the supplied plug which is probably totally fine with a factory style oil pan plug as it is the same M14 thread pitch. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the quality of the threaded outlet. It could definitely be improved by running a tap to clean up the course threads. Threads were too tight when hand threading and obviously done by worn tool leaving torn edges instead of a nice clean profile. Even with that flaw I still highly recommending this pan as an upgrade with an easily corrected manufacturing issue.

Good part - read this review for pre-installation prevention measure
good construction - read reviews about the gasket and bolt (plug) having issues due to the powder coating process while plug installed into the pan by manufacturer. This is true. Before installing on the vehicle I removed the plug and ran a razor knife between the aluminum crush gasket and plug to separate the powder coat from the plug. A couple passes with a new razor blade, then used a small flat blade screwdriver to separate crush gasket from plug. Be careful, do not bend the aluminum crush gasket. Then I took the plug and put some light oil / tap magic on the threads of the plug and ran it in and out of the pan bung three times using my ratchet, cleaning with shop towel and applying the light oil. Viola great fit and I can run the plug in and out of the pan bung by hand. If you don't have tap magic use WD-40. This process did not remove any metal, just the excess powder coating, making life easier under the truck later.Finish looked nice and mating surfaces looked true. No results on leaks, but previous reviewers indicating a good fit.

Less Headaches
This review is for a Dorman 265-813 Transmission Pan with Drain Plug.I have had this drain pan on my 2004 Expedition 5.4, 4 wheel drive for almost three months now. There are no leaks visible around the drain pan or on the plug itself. There is no transmission fluid on my garage floor, and I have not seen any in my parking space at work. The installation was as simple as putting the old drain pan back on. I was able to use the original seal after inspecting it for damages. Two weeks ago I used the drain plug for the first time. It worked like a charm. It took minutes to drain the fluid in the pan, and replace with new fluid. Without the drain plug, it was a multiple hour project between the actual work and cleaning up the mess. I have no complaints about this particular drain pan. If you are someone who likes to do your own work, and keep up with the maintenance on your car, this drain pan will save you a lot of headaches in the long run.Pros:Exact fit for my 2004 Expedition 5.4, 4 wheel drive. As easy to install as the original.Drain plug for easy draining.Cons:None.
