Not sure why the power button does not work at all. I can only unplug to cut power...I bought this for the power button specifically.

First time she got plugged in, and I used it, I had everything correctly soldered. But the second time a puddle of solder dripped down contacting the wire next to it and the mosfet...SAVED! GREAT PRODUCT FOR SURE!

When you purchase the ViFly products you get a quality and long lasting Smoke Stopper which has 1amp/2Amp setting. It also has an on/off switch making the binding process very easy instead of having 3 hands trying to hold down a bind button while trying to plug in a lipo battery. I'm very happy with the craftsmanship as well. Happy flying guys!✈️🇺🇲

much more useful than just a smoke stopper

I wish I knew how much I needed this years ago. The smoke stopper might be the least useful feature. I use this for the power on off button to put receivers into bind mode and when testing cameras or other settings. Since it limits the current to 1 or 2 amps, selectable, I don't bother taking the props off when I power it up in Betafllight. I also never thought I'd be using it to convert between XT30 or XT60 connectors when I power something up in Betaflight or just to test the cameras. Again, the power is limited to 1 amp by the smoke stopper, so I can power up a 5" quad with a XT30 battery. Never the plan, but when you're too lazy to get a different battery...

Doesn't prevent damage

I really like this as an on-off switch for the battery it makes it much easier to plug in when you have to push the button to get in dfu mode. I was not 100% sure if my drone would take 6s so I use this thinking it would prevent damage, anyhow I had plugged in a storage charged 6s and it seemed ok, but after I fully charged the battery and with this on the default 1amp setting, my AIO esc blew as soon as i plugged in the battery, I saw smoke and then a second later the smoke stopper switched to the error

Huge fan of this product

Works exactly as described and I love the option to use 2 amp instead of 1 amp for the 10” drones. Very quickly disconnects short loads. Does get hotter than I would like if you mess around with drone settings and leave the battery connect 10mins or more, but It’s not cause any problems yet. It’s mostly for quick short test anyways

If you FPV, you need this.

This is just as necessary for your FPV drone as circuit breakers are for your house. I was just reminded--the hard way--that carbon fiber frame material is conductive. Fortunately, it only melted the [+] capacitor lead which acted like a slow-blow fuse. Gave me a good scare and smoked like Hades.
