Excellent Set. Always throw nice chips or wire (depending on substrate).
Many people don't realize, but drill bits are meant to operate at different speeds, depending upon the material being drilled. I use these primarily in my drill press and adjust the belts as required for the correct RPM. I use cutting oil on metal. These always get the job done except... Recently, I had been using my portable hammer drill with hammer bits, and left it in hammer position. When I picked up the drill to drill a set screw out of a brake rotor, I picked up and mounted the 5/32". It is the correct diameter for one of the easy outs. Set the tip, pulled the trigger, and rat-a-tat-a-tat. I released the trigger. The drill was still set where I had left it. The tip edge was chipped and ruined. I used the next smaller (9/64) to finish the hole, on standard drill mode, and the fine cut wires from the drilling immediately started to pour from the sides of the bit. I contacted Drill America to inquire about the warranty, which they stated did not exist. I even went as far as to say it was of no fault of their manufacturing, but my bone-headed maneuver. The rep said, even though they had no warranty against such stupid activity (my words, not theirs) that they would be happy to send me a replacement. It arrived a few days later at no cost. If you use these at the proper speed with the proper equipment, and proper lubrication, they will last for a long time. This is true of all bits, but, especially expensive ones.

Very well built. Works well with a Rapidrill attachment!
So I got these, they seemed a bit expensive but I had high hopes. They did not disappoint! I drilled 20 holes in a 1/2 inch piece of steel and there seems to be not much wear...besides a small chip on the tip (user error). They work much better with drill oil, a pilot hole and a mobile drill press, shout out Rapidrill!

Pretty Great!
My only gripe was that a couple of the smaller bits came chipped. They seem to be holding up well, and have no problems cutting through steel with some cutting oil.

Buy these and you can put holes in things
Bought this to drill anything. So far they drill everything I've thrown at them (steel, wood, aluminum). Took off stars because the smaller bits don't have etched measurements. For something this expensive... They really should.

very good for the price

Sharp & durable
Great bits for hard metals and 135 degree point makes the need for a center punch obsolete. Bits will definitely last long if you use cutting oil and the appropriate drill speed. Just wish they had a hex or square shank for no slippage in a chuck.

Genuine cobalt-alloy drills
Really got fed up with all the counterfeits that claim to be cobalt but are just HSS at best. These are the real deal, great for drilling mild steel.
