Very disappointing
These work if you use two of them together or only hold a hot pan for a couple seconds, otherwise the heat pentrates through a single pot holder and you cannot hold the hot pan. I would not recommend these or purchase them again.

These are great and work perfect for me!
These are great and work perfect for me! I can see how the hole could be an issue but I try to be mindful and grab them so my hand is on the sides where there is no hole. I had to cut the holes out as I hang them up. If you're not hanging them up I guess you could not cut out the holes to minimize the chance of touching something hot through the hole. But then again I've burned my hand with a good old fashioned pot holder without any holes so I think it's just a risk whenever touching something hot.

It might work for everything, EXCEPT as a pot holder.
I got these to use for my cast iron skillet. At only 350 degrees, the heat became unbearable even when using two of them. This is not a pot holder, do not advertise it as one.

pictures misrepresent the product
Product images are not representative of product. The bumps are only on one side. The underside has cavities that will attract dirt and food and will be difficult to keep clean. I would not recommend this product. There are many other silicon mats that would do the job much better.

My wife had bought pot holders the day before these arrived - I was going to surprise her. So, I gave her two and put two in my car tool kit in case I had to repair something hot on the road.

These are great. Use as a pot holder
These are great. Use as a pot holder, trivit an to open jars. I find if you corner to corner in a triangle shape the give fingers more length coverage.
