I use 2 of these bulbs plus 2 48 watt of a different manufacturer I'll eventually replace the 48's as well. As I say I have 4 total bulbs I stand in front of every morning before I study my martial art forms. To be fair I'm not much of a scientist but I will say that I don't have much in the way of inflammation, and I am 58 years old, I used to be very un healthy 10 years ago but between healthy eating, divorcing a terrible family and overall healthy life style with things like red light therapy I do ok and these bulbs are a great value. No quality issues either they are solid some other bulbs I've bought feel cheap and rattle and hum, these are excellent quality all around and very bright. Give off an expected amount of minimal heat. I mediate 3 minutes per side in front of 4 bulbs inline to to bottom. They're mounted in chicken brooding ceramic receptacles.

My experience of this light bulb was quite pleasant, the bulb emits powerful 850 infrared nm heat red light which I feel powerful enough to serve its healing effect. The bulb gets hot after a while and needed to be handle with caution when taking it off from the stand. Since It's a heavy bulb, I recommend to use a sturdy stand or else it can tip over. I've used it for a few times only, I'm not applying for pain management nor beauty regiment although the idea of it may smooth a few wrinkles will be nice. I find it relaxing and soothing when I use it before bed and tuning with soft music, it's quite therapeutic and it can be a nice evening ritual that I'll continue.

Only half of these 2 lights work. The 850 LED light up but none of the Red 660nm come on. I bought 2 of these LED Lights. 2 BAD. I tried other fixtures & all only lit the 850 Nm nothing from the Red 660 Nm. The Light indicates two shades Near infrared & Red. No Red or 670 Nm as stated with the Amazon product listing. But I will keep them to Research the 850 Nm Near Infrared personnel value. Your Best Near infrared research tool is a Halogen Work Light. ~HEAT~ is INFRARED.

This light is made very well. Casing gets extremely hot. Beam was too focused for my personal needs (skin rejuvenation) but would be excellent for pinpointed pain relief.

I’m loving this little light!!!It’s really easy to use. The housing gets a little hot but it has a fan keeping it cool.I’m not sure about any long term effects but after using it for a week, I can definitely feel a difference on the body part I treated, and it does feel warm and “good”.Time will tell how effective this is but the LED light seems to have a convex curve that focuses the light.

Spent some time looking for a high quality high watt red light after researching some of the benefits of it.Stumbled across this beauty and was ecstatic that the watts were so high! The next best/cheat ones I could find was in the 20~30 watt range at best and costed around 10$ less than this one. So I purchased this item.When it arrived it looked great, was HUGE, and even had a fan on the bulb to dissipate the heat.I plugged it into my power measure device and it tells me it's only 36.8 . I tried a couple different lamps with the same result.I then contacted the seller and asked about this, but even after waiting over a week there was no reply.I decided to keep the bulb despite the fact that it is not what it claims to be since returning it and getting a different one would have been less Watts.. I honestly don't think I got a half dead one cause it is so bright, but maybe half of the LEDs are not working or something. Again no reply from the seller so your guess is as good as mine.Should you be looking to buy this, please not that it might only be 36.8 watts. It's still a good deal for that wattage in my opinion, but I dislike being lied to about the product and then ignored by the seller.

I have been using this on my husband’s and my shoulders and it is unbelievable how it is relieving our pain. I’m trying it on my husband’s feet for his diabetic neuropathy. So far, it is helping him feel his feet again. I want to buy one for everyone I know with pain!!!! I love it so far!!!!

It is well made; it just needs to be so much lighter. I got it so my mother could use it for pain relief, but she cannot hold it. Much too heavy. I tried using it myself and could barely hold it for more than a couple minutes at a time.
