Skyline Furniture Velvet King Tufted High Arc Headboard, Cocoa

I love this headboard! It is absolutely beautiful and fits my personality and bedroom perfectly. <3Pros: The actual headboard itself is very beautiful, with a soft deep black fabric that doesn't hurt your back when you lean on it. I also have a husky and surprisingly his white hair doesn't stick to it, thought the rest of my room is a different story. Delivery was also very quick. I received it within two weeks.Cons: It is a PAIN to put together, albeit I'm also a 23 year old girl who did it by herself. I had a hard time screwing it to the bed frame- the pieces just didn't fit. the headboard is actually not screwed in at all, but luckily my queen size mattress set keeps it 100% in place against the wall. Also the packaging was terrible. It looked like an animal tore apart the box first and then they taped it around the headboard. Lastly, there was a tiny tear on the corner of the headboard, but used hot glue for a quick fix.

I decided to get this headboard for my 16 yr old daughter. Although I spent $1000's on 3 pieces from Stanley Furniture 12 yrs ago that still appears in Pottery barn today, we both think it was time to move on (crying here). The headboard took about 4 days to be delivered although Prime said 2 but thats ok. Assembly was fine Except I had to use a drill bit to drill holes into one of the stands for a queen size Bed frame but it wasnt' a big deal. I do see where some blogs mention the black stands but my daughters bed sits high so you can't see it at all. This definitely needs some fabrick protection as it is pretty silky and it looks as though it can snag easily if not cared for. This fabric isn't for children who jump in the bed :). The color is a creamy white. Perfect for a Modern Vintage look. For the price.. I'm sold! you could just put on new fabric if you ever get tired of this. For the price if you would want to move on, I'm sure you'd get a great price in a Yard Sale but who would want that? These headboards are so Trendy right now and for the price it's alright.

This headboard is Beautiful! I have it in dove grey. Well made; easy to install. The covered buttons are well made. Comes in box with plastic around it. Arrived in perfect condition. The grey color is a soft, light-medium color. I would definitely buy another if I needed it. Soft feel to fabric. I was initially a bit concerned when I felt the softness of the fabric as we have two cats. So far, neither have scratched or clawed it. This headboard is sturdy. You will need two people to install. One to hold while the other attaches it to frame. This is a good quality product. Do not hesitate to get this headboard.

Really nice head board. Well made - will last a long time. It wasn't as heavy as I thought it was going to be - I was able to carry it up my stairs by myself. It is white, but not bright white. I have a white bed spread paired with it and it looks nice. The company did send the wrong hardware. It was an easy fix, I just went to the hardware store and spent $2 and got everything I needed. No biggie. It was wrapped nicely and is easy to clean. I have two cats and a two year old and it has with stood the test so far (probably jinxed it now). Overall I am very happy - I would have given 5 stars, but I'm only giving 4 because of the hardware problem.

We LOVE this headboard. So why only 4 stars? It's advertised as made in USA, but the metal legs clearly state, "Made in China." We didn't deduct for the other issues because the headboard is otherwise as described, but potential buyers should realize that the headboard is only barely king size. Most king headboards usually have an extra couple of inches in width to take into account the bedding/comforter/duvet, and the headboard is not particularly tall and grand. The height on the king size is actually very modest. We made modifications and raised the headboard 5" and it made all the difference! Now we have a very impressive look without the cost of custom. The fabric is beautiful, the color is as shown, and the tufting is well executed. No regrets.

This headboard is not only beautiful but goes with so many different styles. The headboard is padded which is nice to lean up in bed against it. Has lasted me years now and decided to make a review (which I never do) this is an amazing piece. It was able to attach to our bedframe just fine and the quality is nice too. Held up over the years and very sturdy

The headboard itself is beautiful. Not actual velvet but still nice, same texture, true color. The back isn't velvet - just backing. My only issue - I asked customers here if it was suitable for use without a boxspring, and with a metal platform bed. I have a queen size memory foam mattress and the Sleep Master Platform Metal Bed Frame/Mattress Foundation. The screw placements don't line up to attach the headboard to the frame, and there is a 4 inch gap between the top of the mattress and the headboard. The height isn't adjustable. I had to go buy wooden boards and finagle it myself. Fortunately the headboard is lightweight so it worked.

I received this and was able to assemble and put it up by myself...so...very easy! One problem is that one of the screw holes in the back, the "receiving hole" (the one on the back of the headboard), the metal part fell down into the drilled hole and now the screw won't screw in (there's only wood). This leaves that row of holes useless since I can't screw the support beams in. Otherwise, I"m very happy with regards to the fabric (very rich and high quality) and the color which is just as I was hoping it to be. Beautiful.
